You can shoot very fast with this camera using Snap Focus. Perfect street camera. Shot my GRD3 on the streets all over the world. Beautiful B&W, especially at night. Beautiful CCD colors.
Nice to see there are still others apart from me still using the GRD IV. I love this little camera! BTW, I don't find the autofocus slow at all. It's the write a DNG to SD card that is slow compared to say the GRIII, but then that is to be expected from a pocket camera that is over 10 years old. JPG's write far faster, but their quality isn't as good as the DNG's out of this little gem. I'd be gutted if I was ever to lose this camera, or if it was stolen, and that's why I look after mine very carefully. The other great thing about the GRD IV is that the accessories can also now be found super cheap. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with it. And I urge anyone else, if you're looking for a inexpensive way into the world of GR, the GRD IV is a super place to start.

@@robes.dornagon GH-2 and the 21mm conversion lens that screws on the front. Also, get a step-up ring so you can fit your own filters.
I felt it was a bit slow too so I just shot JPG only when I had mine. Was satisfied with that and the results.
How does this camera do in poor lighting conditions?
It does great. F1.9 lens. Nice grain. Handheld.
