I get why people are complaining about the audio: its very inconsistent in terms of volume..sometimes I can't hear anything and a few seconds later I felt the need to lower the audio on my end. This is something adobe premiere pro can fix, but it'll be better to invest in individual mics especially when the eatbook franchise has grown till this stage. Love the content though!

4:00 Actually I think it's pronounced as "Ah Geh" as in karaage. Which means fried. So it's a fried tofu not old tofu XD
Surprised Chika also pronounced it as Age instead of ah-ge😂
I feel that the appetizers outshine the main course and the portion sizes are quite generous. Dynamics of the 3 host are on point. More of them in the next episode. ☺️

Different Donki outlets have different meals! I've have never seen some of the meals in this videos but seen ramen, soup, kimchi fried rice & even a few where Donki collaborated with a tonkatsu restaurant in SG!

Sound is very inconsistent. Seems like the mic position needs work. Adobe Premier has tools to help with sound equalization

It's not aged tofu. It's ah-geh tofu. Means fried tofu. Hahaha

I think most of these suffer from being left too long before eating. the stuff looks deflated, soggy and old. which then makes sense that the sushi sashimi items rank higher, cos they do not need to be hot to be enjoyed.

don don donki has really good sushi. I would go as far as saying it's better than some sushi restaurants.

Bolin looks like a giant next to Chika & Sangee. +1 for Sangee’s food descriptions. She needs to be an eatbook host :)
age - pronounced as "ah gay" from the full agedashi (揚げ出し) usually means fried - stock (literally) fried tofu in dashi stock. Hence Age( less dashi) just means fried tofu.

Ok so idk what the Eatbook editors were referring to when Bolin said Triple D. My initial thought where my dirty-minded side was shining through was that it referred to "Triple Di*k". Few days later, I went shopping at Donki and finally realised Triple D could also have stood for Don Don Donki. 😳💀
(Not so) Fun Fact: Age in japanese means "fried" and should be pronounced as "Ah-Ge".
I laughed a bit when they pronounce the "Age" in "Funwari Age Tofu" in english pronounciation.
