Hi Josh, what is your scope cant? I got an Atlas BT72 and a Area 419 Arca clamp. It’s a new rifle! I’m wanting to shoot longer distances now. I’m running 35 MOA of cant right now. I’m also shopping for a new scope. So I don’t have to guess on the scope mounts, I’m curious as to how you set up your Tract. If that’s secret sauce, I understand. Thanks
No secret sauce. Its a 50 moa rail which allows me to zero at 50 still. I run low rings or the current mount is a 0 moa 1.27" height cantilever spuhr. Hope that helps. Also dont try to run a 50 moa rail unless your scope has 100+ moa internal travel
Josh I have to ask which barrel shot better between the lilja 419 and the 3 groove from lilja? I know they are both great barrels I’m wondering which one you like better 3 groove are 5?
Awesome Clip. Wish you would have added a crono measurement. My Bartlein shot 50fps slower than the Lilja and changed the performance of a lot of rounds. Hope you redo the rest when it warms up. Add the FPS measurements and include the MTR. Maybe I missed it but what Lilja chamber did the barrel have, 2 or 3? Great video!
IS 22" to long for a 10/22? Them CZ, they come like that besides the barrel or are the stocks aftermarket too? Heard of Lilja, the other Bartlein do they make it for a 10/22?
Something I'm curious to see someone else test because 1 time and 2 money: barrel length. Is a super short barrel as accurate or more accurate than a long barrel? I'm not sure what pistol you would use to test this without an SBR but I won't tell on you. The benchrest guys have super long barrels relative to the caliber. Other guys deliberately cut barrels to 5" to keep cheap hv ammo subsonic in suppressed builds. If the bullets are going the same speed from the same twist rate barrels despite the barrels being different lengths, what's the point of the extra weight and increased potential to move the barrel with the bullet in it during the shot?
I’m trying to figure out which CZ 457 to buy. I only have access to 200yd range maximum but mostly the range I will be at most often is 100yds. Can you offer any guidance on which model? Shooting paper and steel only no hunting. Thanks for any advice, Paul.

I prefer the new lilja 3
Have you noticed the bolt handle moves as you fire a round?
Yes there is tension thats released by releasing the firing pin which lets it drop free. Its a normal occurence on most bolts
How about LW barrel? I preordered one and waited more than three month.
Its the lilja 3. Wow 50 fps is quite the difference. The lilja and bartlein shoot those lots around 1100 -1110 fps
Do you prefer a match chamber with a match barrel? Is it a must?
I got CZ 457 varmint I don’t think it comes with match chamber.
Its not necessary
I have looked on the F3R Machine web site and that looks like a 1.50″ height 34 mm one-piece cantilever scope mount, correct?
For the tract im using a spuhr mount currently to get a lower cantilever but yes f3r offers a 1.5" cantilever
Guess it comes down to who has one in stock lol!
Yes exactly haha
IS 22" to long for a 10/22? Them CZ, they come like that besides the barrel or are the stocks aftermarket too? Heard of Lilja, the other Bartlein do they make it for a 10/22?
22" be fine for a 10/22
Why does the bolt handle on the Lilja barrel's action jump up after every shot?
@@mikemcallister5287 it's under tension that's relieved by releasing the sear. It's pretty common
Would you do a Cz sporter weight barrel like say an American or Synthetic? Also do you ever shoot with a suppressor?
I dont typically run any cans as ive seen them hurt accuracy.
Will see if I can find a sporter
Honestly get the one that catches your eye the most. They are all great rifles
So the Bartlein with the Bentz chamber shot a bit better than the Lilja with the match chamber. I have been obsessing over whether to get a MTR, Match, or Bentz chambered barrel. Seems too close to call at least from these two barrels. Thanks.
Yeah. Id still lean to the match chamber
@@PursuitofAccuracy See my comment on the Lilja versus the CZ MTR. Now I'm really confused....
@@cacinaz8802 im always going to want a match chamber over a bentz chamber for a bolt gun.
For semi auto im going bentz.
Occassionally a bentz chambered barrel will outshoot a match chambered barrel but its not the norm
@@PursuitofAccuracy Thanks. Very helpful. It makes sense to go with a Bentz for a semi-auto because it helps prevent FTF (feed or eject) issues no doubt.
@@cacinaz8802 yes sir exactly
can you tell me what speed the Eley match have written on the package? Thank you
They were 1064 to 1071
What targets are you using for this test? I really like them and would love to order some of my own.
I think those are the targets. I use them and they are the heavy paper.
Man your Davie Crocket 😂
Lol thanks, i think
What are your thoughts on element chassis currently have AT1 shoots 1/2 moa at 50 but groups really open up at 100 I feel it’s due to not being bedded and no pillars
I really like the element. Little bit light but very solid
Seem s that it or krg bravo fit my budget best
What are your thoughts on the proof research carbon barrel? Have you had the opportunity to check these out?
I’m eyeing one for my MTR VPR.
I havent got my hands on one yet
@@PursuitofAccuracy “yet”, I like my odds of seeing one on your channel in the future. My only concern is if the barrel will be too light.
Might end up going with a threaded Barltein; or which ever becomes in stock first.
30’s would be down right balmy here in Ohio! 😀
Love my my 22” IBI. Shoots just a tad over 1/2 MOA out to 125 so far. Stays clean, loves Center-X and SK Long Range. Hope you have a chance to test that as well someday.
Haha yeah 30 degrees is too cold for us here in NC
How about the proof cfw barrel 😁
