I am watching this after the sad news of Pia's passing...She really was a guardian angel!! It's too bad, she decided to end it so soon...She was capable of loving and caring as we saw...and when a person can love and care for others like Pia did for Kenneth everything is possible...RIP PIA because you saved more than one person during your time here.
Thank you 💜
She save more people than she ever realized. She will be missed but not forgotten 🙂
I hope you are keep going. She is so wonderfull. Please keep posting , riding your bike and living your life
She was such a lovely human being, so careful... I am so sorry for your loss, i can't imagine what you are going through. I am gonna share the tears with you mate. Hugs 🤗
@@RidetheBean Jag beklagar din förlust Kenneth, Pia var en fantastisk person av allt att dömma!
she did a beautiful job of giving hinm a reason to live and get through the dice with death
It's kinda weird to visit this video after the fact and thinking about how his pain is in plain sight here, while the amount of pain pia is in is unnoticeable for us viewers.
Yeah she was very good at hiding it. She had 30 years of practice.
You can see the pain in her face..he and cuts scars on her arms..poor girl RIP 💕
She went through such a trauma physically and mentally herself. Nurses give to others.
She was such an amazing and empathetic person.. so sorry to have heard about her passing.. she will live on in our hearts
After 62 years of life, this video was the most heartbreaking to see; knowing that Pia has had her last MC trip. What an incredible lady. 😢💐💕❤️🙏🏻. And you young man are a warrior.
She really was an incredible human being 🙂
It is hard to grasp that she will never ride with me again 😔
@@RidetheBean her soul will be with you even if her physical cant be.
I'm really glad you take the time to show us this, i know it can be hard for some to see, but it is a painfull reminder how fragile we are and what you have to go trough if you are unlucky. So nice to see he still got some humor and a smile at the end of the video 👏🏻 Stay safe, get well and I can't wait to see you both get back on your feet and continue your adventure. No matter how you choose and when you choose to do so. Really nice to see all the support and love you two get 🥰
It can be painful to watch, yes. Life is sometimes painful. Thanks for staying with us through all of this, Thomas ❤️ We will continue to fight until we are back on those bikes ❤️
You call that fragile? You Vikings have weird standards. it's nice to see how many of the moto vlogging community come together. Sweden, Norway, Germany and even the guys from Australia :) And probably many more I haven't subscribed to yet.
She clearly loved you so, so much. She may have lost her battle but I know you can stay strong in yours- Stay strong brother, It's clear all she wanted is for you to be safe, healthy and happy
Her sweet voice, she brought you back from the void. Her energy and voice, she leaned into the deep dark where you were and guided you back with her sweet voice and her love. There is a reason why you were brought back. Her work to save you, and that's what it was, is everything. I hope you treat yourself well and cherish that which she worked so very hard to save. Your life. So much love and comfort to you.
The one time I am appreciating the RUclips algorithm. It gave me your RIP Pia vid and here I am retracing the events.
Can see Pia has been through immense struggles, her scars tell a very sad story.
The many people she helped, those she would have helped, have lost an angel.
That is true. Despite carrying so much pain she was the most amazing human being. Our lives will never be quite the same 😥
I will be following your journey till you're in South Africa and back to beautiful Norway. Your journey is our journey as well. Be strong and get better soon.
Thank you Pia and Kenneth for sharing this, i wish you all the best from all my heart❤️
Thank you so much, Ahmed! Our journey might look a bit different than what we planned, but we'll be back there on the road one day ❤️ Thank you so much for following along! Where do you live?
@@RidetheBean Your dream will come true on day! The most important think is that you and Kenneth are doing well 😊 (it could have been much worse).
I live in Sarpsborg, and you're very welcome to my place 😊
Wow i didn't expect his injuries beeing so badly while watching the accident. Thank god norway has a good healthcare
He is very lucky to have you there helping take such good care of him. I really hope you guys get through this and get to continue on with your journey. Take care and get better soon.
Thanks! It was quite the adventure. I felt very lucky that I had the education and experience that I had, so I could be there in a constructive way. That was of great relief for me too. We will get through this, no doubt ❤️
Hi Kennith from South Africa 🇿🇦. I stumbled across your RIP video, subscribed, and started watching all your videos from the start. What an amazing 👏 person you are, and what an Angel 😇 Pia was. She is in heaven 😍 overlooking you now. I hope to one day see you make it to South Africa 🇿🇦. With all our love and support, be strong brother. You are amazing soul.
Hang in there guys ❤️ Good job filming and getting your thoughts down Pia and thanks to you both for sharing your journey. Great progress Kenneth all the best 🤙
At first the filming was mostly for our own sake, so Kenneth could see what had happened to him when he woke up, but he decided to edit it and include it in the videos, so glad you enjoyed the video 🙂
"Now I'm walking ha ha" Yeap, this is the right spot to like the video. And who the hell is cutting the onions.
That IS a good spot for a like! Completely agree =)
This was so painful to watch. The entire process, but you are such an inspiring person. You took this like a fucking champ. I'm sure I speak on everyone's behalf from Moto Madness that we all support your full recovery!!
Thank you. That means a lot. I really don't feel that way. But the recovery is going pretty well 🙂
@@RidetheBean very happy to hear that!
It's hard and sad to watch both of you in pain but I am glad and happy to see Kenneth be able to talk, sitting up right, walking, shower and showing us thumbs up and that's great. To all riders please ride safe..... May both of you are on light speed speedy recovery...💪💪💪🤟🇲🇾
The joy we feel for something we once took for granted, eh? It's quite amazing how lucky we are to be able to talk, sit upright, walk, shower, and thumbs up. We got a new reminder of that after this accident! Ride safe ❤️
Dear Angel Pia, I see the pain on your arms...I'm so sorry for all your pain. Rest in peace Please continue to watch over Kenneth
Pia, you are so brave and so calm. I guess your training as a nurse helps with it, but my goodness, you are so strong.......
Heal well, Kenneth.
Thank you 🙂 I didn't feel very strong in the moment.
Kenneth is healing up well 🙂
What an amazingly strong man you are Kenneth in every sense of the word...and Pia was your angel God sent to you for strength before calling her home.
Thank you 🙂
Wow... Strong woman.... we wish you and Kenneth speedy recovery
Thank you 😊
Lego cowboys fighting on top of a mountain! god bedring :)
I wondered what this comment was about until I saw the entire video.
😂 yeah I was pretty doped up and hallucinating hard! Takk for det 🙂
😝😂
R.I.P Pia!, Ken god puts people in our lives for a specific reasons, She was a blessing and hold onto that. Good Luck
WOW ... just wow ... I stumbled on your videos when they came across my RUclips feed. Eight years ago right now I was told I had Stage 3B Lymph Node & Testicular Cancer. I did 3 months of chemo and 2 surgeries and the last surgery was 12 hours and the cut me open just like Kenneth was cut open. Only difference was they took my insides OUT to get at the cancerous tumor. Tell Kenneth he is doing great for what he has been through. I had to spent 16 days in a hospital recovering.. so him getting out sooner is a blessing. Looking forward to BOTH your recoveries and future adventures... Good luck from the Boston, MA USA area !
So glad you're still here, Rob! Your experience sounds scary and life-changing. Glad you're still with us! We´ll be back on the bikes one day ❤️
You both are such fighters. I am so sorry that Pia lost her figth! I have the greatest symphathy for you and for overcoming how life has treated you lately. I wish you all the very best!
Thank YOU 💜
You will enjoy 1000 times more your journey the day you will recover your health. Everybody wish you, for you and Pia, all the best.
You are right. This accident was a huge wakeup call, bot regarding our preparations, skill level and riding style and the fact that we realised how fragile life is. You never now what can happen, so better enjoy every moment. Cant wait to get back on the bike again!
We're still here. Yes we are, Kenneth! Four years ago I was you. ICU, pain, tubes, hallcinations, and amazing support from family and Kelowna General Hospital. I've been back on the bike for 2 1/2 years. You two will as well. Stay strong. Get well. Gordon
Thanks 😊If you got back on the bike, I have to as well 😝 give me a few months and we'll see 😛
What a loving beautiful sincere woman in Pia. What a shame we lost her. I hope she found happiness somewhere.
Mr. Kenetth you are a beast !!! Much respect bro especially when u gave a thumbs up when u could barely talk.. Many regards from moto offroad group thailand as we are following you and hoping we could see you when we touch down norway!! Stay strong brother .. much love to Pia as well she is just pure gold.. get well soon you both ..cheers
Thank you for the kind words 🙂
If you get to Norway we would love to meet up 😛 just hit us up if you are in the area 😛
This was so difficult to watch and just makes me appreciate even more how lucky I am to escape with only a broken collarbone from my crash 2 weeks ago. Wish you both a speedy recovery, I can't wait to follow your adventure, even if it's not until next season. Get well, love from Stavanger.
A broken collarbone is not nothing. I have luckily never fractured mine but I imagine that is very painful too.
The continuation of our journey has to wait until the snow melts, but by then we will be fit to leave as well 🙂
All the best to you guys. Thx 4 sharing this content and your positive energy. I hope you will be fully recovered on your bikes.
Thanks 🙂
We will 😛
Oh my! Sending all my love , you guys deserve so much more with RUclips , you’re doing such an amazing job! Can see you both being big you tubers one day!
Thank you 😊
My very best wishes to you both. Thank you for continuing to post. This needs to remain in my mind when I ride.
Hehe yeah it is a good wakeup-call 😛 We also learned a lot from this.
Pia, Ken, I'm really unsure if the "like" button the right word for this episode 😳 Taking me into the intensive room made my cry. I'm too soft for the hard side of live so nurse, doctor or figher fighter is not the right profession for me. All my love ❤️❤️ and best wishes are with you, Bernd
We get that! It must feel strange to give this video a like. It gets better at the end, I guess that's worth liking :) We can't all be nurses, doctors or fire fighters so don't worry! I'm hoping this will be the last you saw of intensive care, Bernd ❤️
i have to thank you and pia soul for recording this and for you to sharing this for us all to see its very shocking. its very personal journey and my heart is so sad for you having went through that and her. its powerful videos she took she has no idea the power in these videos to show people the ability for humans to endure something so bad.
Good to see Kenneth is recovering. Best wishes to you both. See you on the road.
Thanks! So glad to see him up and walking after all that ❤️ See you on the road, ride safe!
So glad to see both of you getting strong to keep going! All my best wishes and a fast recovery, big hug all the way from Colombia!
Full recovery will take some time, but we were lucky it was not worse so that we can get back to normal again.
I'm invested into y'all's journey an recovery ! Much love an prayers from Texas!
Thanks 😊
Give us a few months and we will be back on our bikes heading south again 😛
So sad and distressing to watch but it’s such an honest review, I applaud you for it Kenneth
Hehe yeah it was not the most fun I’ve had 😅 but thanks to Pia I made it through!
This young lady was such a wonderful person R.I.P. Pia ❤️🙏
Yea she really was 😊 I miss her so much.
Wish you both a speedy recovery!. Subscribed when I found your channel but didn't see this coming! Glad you are getting better, take your time, heal up. We will be here when you are ready again. Stay safe LJ
Thanks! Glad to have you with us, LJ! We´ll be back after a break to rebuild and regrow and get back on our bikes ❤️ You stay safe too!

Thank you so much!
this is so hard to watch, i feel so sorry for you both. stay strong. sending you both love and best wishes from england. x
Understandable! It is quite hard to watch, but thank you for doing it. It was a hard period of our lives, but now things are going a lot better ❤️
You guys are so so, so increadibly strong! It's so amazing that you guys have recorded this entire process.
Thank you 😊
Wow this is crazy. This will be the adventure of your lifetime. I hope you both are able to continue it soon. I just found your channel and your transparency is genuine and appreciated. Hope you get your knees in the breeze soon!
Thank you for watching our video 🙂 We filmed this as a way to be able to process the situation ourselves later. But figured it could be interesting to share as well 🙂
What incredible courage. Thanks for letting us see this. God Bless you guys. Cheers, Campbell
Thank you 😊 it was a help for ourselves to be able to watch back what happened afterwards so we figured maybe someone else could be interested too 😛
thank you two for sharing these hard times with us!
All the best to you two! That you recover fully and get out in a strengthen way!
Thank you also for explaining all the machines, processes and medicine in the intensive care station, it was very interesting to me. Have seen it often, but never got a good explanation!
All the best to you,
Tom
Hi Tom, thanks for sharing this difficult times with us! We are on the right track, definitely on the mend. Thank you ❤️
I'm so impressed by you both! Keep getting stronger and let us know how you're progressing! Your journey is not over and I hope our paths will cross along the road-ride on!
Cheers from Montreal, Canada
That would be great! If you are ever in Europe let us know 😛 We are doing our best to heal up and plan to be back on the bikes by spring.
I strongly believe you guys will get through this even stronger and continue on your adventure of a lifetime
Thank you 😊 That is the hope we have also. We are working towards being able to continue in spring when the snow melts. This could have been so much worse though... We were very lucky!
Im inspired watching 3 episodes of your journey. You are a lucky man to have spent some quality time with Pia. And to even have such health care system.
There are lots of wonderfull reason to hold-on to Life keep holding-in and keep inspiring more.
It's very nice to see you guys doing better, amazing how fast you improved Kenneth! I hope your recovery will be good and speedy💪, wishing you both all the best from my heart. Kenneth, your biggest smile will be when you have your first ride on the bike again for sure🙂!
Yeah we were pretty lucky that it all went so well. Could have easily been worse. I think you are right about that! It will take some time, but getting back on the bike is what motivates me to get well again!
It's so good to see you much better at the end of the video! Have a speedy recovery! ;-)
Thank you 🙂 Feeling better every day 😛
Both of you are very brave and inspirational to the rest of us keep the great work up
Thank you for saying that 😊 It means a lot 🙂
Wishing you a speedy recovery. Stay strong for one another.

Shit happens... It's just part of life. We are lucky it was not worse.
Ride safe 🏍

So FANTASTIC to see Kenneth conscious and even walking! What a crazy journey this is, right? Damn. Sending much love from Denmark.
YES! It's amazing how much we can cherish something we once took for granted. Like Kenneth being conscious, and being able to walk ❤️ Thanks for all the love!

Thinking like an injured biker! We´ll be back on our bikes one day ❤️

Man, what a horrible accident. I am glad, Kenneth is recovering and having high spirits. I wish you both the very best. Sending you lots of love, prayers and strength.
Thank you, Darius! We are glad to be on the road to recovery now ❤️
Seeing all the cuts on Pia arm i can only imagine what she been trough all his life ..
May her soul rest in peace.
Yeah she was struggle long with a lot ever since she was a small child, but the person I knew was incredibly strong and resilient. But everyone has their breaking point 😔
Kenneth and Pia, I am so sorry to learn of your terrible accident and injuries. I am so impressed however with your courage in how you both are confronting your challenges. It is so heartening to see Kenneth's remarkable progress and strength of spirit. I wish you both all the very best and a full and speedy recovery. Much love from the Canadian Rockies.
Hi! Thank you so much for your concern and get better-wishes. We hope to be making a full recovery and be back on our bikes this spring ❤️
Good to see him up again, best wishes!
Thanks!
Great to see Kenneth looking good and recovering well...in two years time you will be somewhere on your world trip regailing people you meet along they way with tales of this crash and recovery and looking back on it with a smile
Hi Carl! Yes, hopefully that will be the outcome in a couple of years time ❤️ We´ll laugh about his lego cowboys ❤️
Thank God, his recovery is amazing. And, he has very positive attitude. Along with that, Pia's love and help. Wish you both full recovery quickly.
Yes, it's quite remarkable! Thank you so much ❤️
Hi Pia and Kenneth, thanks for sharing with us...that was so moving. Kenneth's thumbs up from the hospital bed showed what great inner strength he has. And your calm and capable support and fab smile 😃 throughout Pia is amazing 👏. As ever massive hugs to you both 🤗 🤗 Cheers, Steve
Steve! ❤️ Yes, I was so impressed with Kenneth for his thumbs up while he was intubated and conscious. It just baffles me! Lots of hugs back ❤️
Boy, I certainly clicked on the suscribed bell now. Despite watching a bunch of your videos I did not realized that I hadn’t done it until you told me to do so now, with an evident struggle to speak...
This is indeed a life experience. Passing from apotheose to tragedy in a snap. Fortunately the medical services in Norway are really top notch and you guys will get back to your bikes to live amazing things. The Ténéré 700 is exactly the bike I want to buy to do precisely the same sort of adventure you both do. So needless to say, you are both a real inspiration to me.
Thank you for subscribing 😊
We are so thankful to everyone who has helped us through this. If it had to happen It was good that it happened in Norway 🙂
Where do you want to take you T7?
Bless you both! wishing you a speedy recovery xx
Thank you 😊
So pleased to see you on the mend Kenneth. You guys are a strong team!!
I am feeling a lot better today. Thanks to Pia! She is taking good care of me😝 Looks like we'll make a full recovery so we plan on continuing in spring 😛
I'm so glad to see you starting to get a bit well and gathering power again ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you Pia for being you and taking care of this good soul! 😍
Yes, finally we're up walking again! ❤️ Thank you for your support!

Thank you so much, Felipe! We appreciate it so much ❤️ We are still fighting, and are not ready to be defeated yet ❤️
lots of courage and strength !!!
be strong
greetings from Spain
Gracias 😊
Watching this in a 3:00AM binge of random youtube videos, Dirbike Lunatic brought me here and I came to the channel to see if y'all recovered. It didn't really hit me that this is REAL it could HAPPEN to ANYONE and just the gravity of the situation til you were brushing his hair back and I just really really hope you both are fully recovered soon and it doesn't put a even a damper on your dreams.
Hey! Yeah it was a bit of an experience 😅
We were lucky to survive 🙂
Omg..stay strong mate... you can fight through it....you will ride again and achieve your dreams!
Thanks 😊
That is the goal! Hopefully we'll be back on the bikes by may 2021 to continue our journey 😛
It is good to see you up and walking, but very hard to watch 😌 sending lots of positive vibes to you guys. Hope you are both healing well. Lots of 💕 from Ireland 🍀
It felt really nice to be able to move after a week in bed too 😛 We do feel a lot better today. Now we just need to retrain our bodies so we can continue our trip in spring 😛
Thumbs up for that thumb up from Kenneth !
cant wait to see you back on the road bro
get well soon
stay strong
Thanks 😊
Give us a few months and we'll be back on two wheels again 😛
I'm really happy to see Kenneth doing better. And you too Pia. Be strong. You will get better and better. But it will take time. Above all, keep your morale up.
Thanks Pia and Kenneth for this video. I wish you the best with all my heart. And one day you will hit the road again for a new trip.
Thank you so much! We are working on keeping our morale up for the upcoming recovery and rebuild. We will get back on the road one day ❤️ Thanks for the support!
I wish you fast and full recovery!!!The bike wi'll wait you patiently 😉 Impressive how strong you are, Pia, to film all of these and share with us 🤕
All the best wishes !!! 🤘
Thank you 😊
The bikes are still in the shop waiting for parts, but they will be ready for us when the snow melts in spring.
The filming was kind of a way to document what was happening so Kenneth could get a better understanding of what he had been through. Then he decided to edit it and release it 🙂
Kenneth looks so much better. I hope you both heal well . My sincere wishes for full recovery. New adventure rider here with my own small injury. Ride safe friends!
Thank you! What happened to you, and how are you doing?
I wish you a good recovery in full. All the best to all of you
Thank you so much, Miguel! ❤️
Wow,recovering so well...so pleasing to see.😊👍
Thank you 🙂
Kenneth, Way to hang in champ. So proud of you for your perseverance. Hoping good things for your recovery. Head up bro....Yes you can !
Pia, You are an amazing companion and a wonderful friend/nurse to ken. For us, You were Very informative and a great liaison to explain many of the ICU procedures and processes in a calm way.
So important knowing someone is there - someone that's got your back !
Thank you for sharing your life with us.
Thani you 🙂
Boy, that's an emotional watch. Get well, my friends and stay positive and strong ❤️
Thank you 😊 Doing our best 😛
You are such a good loving couple AND team. Together, and with all the love of your followers, you will handle and have a good future with lots of fun and (motorbike) adventures. Stay save. And hats off for all hospital people and helpers. Love and kisses
Yes, the hospital staff and rescue crew were amazing! They took very good care of us. Thank you so much, we are really feeling the love of the motorcycle community! ❤️
So glad to see Kenneth up and walking, talking and laughing.
❤️
I wish you both a lot of courage for this difficult passage ... better days in the future and new motorcycle adventures await you
See you soon
Than you 🙂
That is true! As soon as the snow melts we are taking off!
After watching the video about her passing this video just goes to show what an angel & extremely amazing person she was. R.I.P PIA. ♥️ From 🇬🇧
It seems like you are making really good progress in such a short time, considering the accident.
God bedring!
Yeah the recovery was relatively quick. Much thanks to Pia who kept pushing me to do exercises, getting out of bed to move around and stuff even though I felt like shit! She has helped a lot! Now the goal is to get back to full form and be able to lift the bike again after a fall 😝
I just felt I had to post this - since it was a moment that involved coffee. You see I was watching all of this with great intensity... I took a sip of my coffee (my favourite instant coffee: "NESCAFE Gold", made in Switzerland. Whaaaat!!?!? I had just assumed it was made here in South Africa) a moment before you stood up to walk, and the next thing I nearly choked and nearly had coffee coming out of my nose. Ha! ha ha! Funny (not funny). That scene was a light and amusing moment... between some really stressful and gripping accounts.
I first encountered your channel with the video (posted on 20210515) of you giving us some really sad news from next to a river. After watching that, I felt I needed to know more... and started watching your RUclips blog from "Episode: -02" as Pia got off work and you headed out on your ride.
I hope your recovery has been steady and you are doing better, and I am really sorry to learn of the tragic news - and appreciate that you shared it with us.
Kennet... :D can see you better! Im happy for you better health and see your together! Big big hugs from Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Thank you Adrian 🙂
I feel a lot better. Now I just need to gain some strength 😛
Another awesome documentary of your experience, thank you for sharing it so completely! atb
Thank you for watching it 😛
This is so hearwarming I know this is a bit older now, but I just found your channel. It is so amazing seeing this and I am so glad that you are sharing these personal touching moments with us.
I also send all the love I have, from the bottom of my heart to you two. greetings from Germany, love this channel.!
He is the sweetest. in so much pain and saying Pia needs rest... dude you are the best pair
Thank you 😊 That means a lot 🙂
Thank you 😊 I used to think so too 😔
