- Finally, something I thought I'd never be able to pull off. The SP5 boss rush is a 17-battle gauntlet accessible in the Demo Bonus Room, and contains the SP5 versions of every (implemented, so no Mima, Youmu, etc.) boss from Marisa to Utsuho, all fought in a row. It's easily the hardest challenge in the game, and possibly any Battle Network game.
...Fun fact, by the way: I had a previous recording go up to UtsuhoSP5, and almost beat her before her Vanishing World-esque attack crashed the game. I was more than a little mad.
Anyway, this will probably be the last Shanghai.EXE video for a while, until the next version is released. I've uploaded pretty much everything there is besides the easier gauntlets the bonus room contains, and why even upload those when they're all way easier than this one anyway?

Only scenario that happens is if you somehow manage to plant it on the back row of the enemy side. But just have to remember which enemy can't summon stuff on there.

some boss are atleast reasonable to fight but some oh boy were NOT design with "fairness" in mind

PyroMan kinda resembles NapalmMan, his Firearms, his Flame pillars attack (kinda resembe NapalmMan's bombing attack) and he is fire element, like NapalmMan.
I realize this comment is late, but how are you able to get the Illegal Navi Chips? I'm using Crimson Noise addon, but still have an extremely tough time getting them, even when S-Ranking some Navi fights such as TortoisemanV3. Should I just fight viruses instead?
The easiest but most tedious way is to just grind CrimsonNoise on navis and get lucky. Viruses have worse drops than navis, but unlike Mega Man Star Force 3 the version of the navi you're fighting doesn't really matter for noise drops. I'd recommend grinding on Marisa, Medicine, or HakutakuMan, as they're all pretty easy bosses.
However, you *can* get illegal navi chip drops from SP5 navis if you S rank them, but that's obviously really hard to do if you don't already have a great folder.

@@Peeekatchu ElementalAura A is in Eien Area 3, behind the ROM door. Unfortunately, as of now there seems to be no way to obtain MetalAura outside of chip traders and CrimsonNoise. It might be obtainable in the postgame when that update releases (in about a month), though.

Any reason the player continuously holds their charge shot?
I use a Navi Customizer program called Chip Charge, which grants a free Attack +10 to any chips used with a full charge. Additionally, I have another program, Hold Charge, which prevents my charge from disappearing after using a chip.

This build was formerly behind a paywall but was leaked, and contains about 80-90% of the game up until right before the DruidMan and final boss fights.
Some kind people over on 4chan's /jp/ board have been working on finishing up the game based on development streams done on nico by the game's developer, Koki, as well as other assets released during the game's development.

What does dark chips do in the game
Dark chips are the Giga chips in this game. And can't used with Full Synchro.

@@Jonssniper13 Nope. Go crazy with Dark chips. As they don't have the negative effects like from BN.

I was about to comment that these battle look extremely unfun with how fast the enemies attack and the ammount of hp they have but seeing you just rip em to shreds like that… Huh
Imagine if this game did something like starforce and had a crossover cutscene with Hub/Rockman.exe
