- At long last, the maingame of Shanghai.EXE has been fully put together, and I'm pretty sure this will be the first video showing the ending off. I don't have much to say about DruidMan currently, but he'll get his own separate fight video in a bit.
As for the ending and credits, I don't have much to say other than I'm surprised it didn't pull a BN3 and have Shanghai sacrifice herself, and that Shanghai appearing in BN6's Central Area 3 in the credits was quite interesting to see...

@@nightshroud9671 Like I said, very heavily. All of Mega Man Zero and Battle Network references are now edited with bad MS paint. Fortunately, there's a separate patch to restore those.
I think the game was left alone until some versions were put behind a paywall. Thats just what i heard looking into it

It kinda was(?) cuz the creator made the game paid, not knowing that fangames should NOT be paid
@@someonehere9778 To be fair, Touhou fangames are generally allowed to be made for profit. Just that Mega Man fangames aren't, which is a different issue.
This is the only video with the uncensored ending roll telling us what happened. Thanks to CRapcom busting non-profit (no-longer-profit) usages, the scene is now crappy placeholders with an incomprehensible black stickman.

@@razi_man I mean 14:35 in the staff roll. The current version available on web has replaced the sprites to some placeholders.
And I must say, the game WAS NOT completed when the original author cancelled the project. The last version from the original author does NOT include anything after DruidMan fight.
Didn’t Capcom only come after them because the original creator was using a Patreon to fund the game

The development wasn't called for stopping until the version with the official MMBN6 sprites.
"Using copyrighted material for commercial without permission" is the only confirmed mistake, others (e.g. Getting funded, ZUN's opposion) are nothing but rumors.
Was getting a combination of BN3 and BN5 vibes in the ending. Need to get back to spending time on this game.

i have a question, when i try to start this version the game doesnt start, i installed all the things the game require, but it doesnt start, but in 0.40 build it does start and i still dont know why this happen, any recommendation? I just changed pc and this is quite sad cause I don't know why this happen.
I don't know much about this fangame but I don't know why they say it's not finished, I see this and I guess it's complete

If you search on YT on "Touhou Magic Mirror", take a listen to it and read the description.
Alot of people were quite surprised as well as "Magic Mirror"'s riffs led to a number of recognizable leitmotif used in future games.
And yes, "Magic Mirror" is the name of Kikuri's theme from Highly Responsive to Prayers aka Touhou 1.

You should be able to transfer your saves from any version.

@@Skypatroller_BenCD Huh...I didn't have that issue, and I just beat the game recently. Fwiw when I dl'd it it was named, "ShanghaiEXE_0550e1_Full".
