Very good! Yes eb a wise choice. That half step makes it possible. The album version is deceptively high pitched. Well done on getting the grit on it as well. Not easy!
This is awesome! I'm trying to do a vocal cover of this song in the same key (Eb) , the hardest part for me is getting that grit in the voice, do you have any tips for that? It's just not the same without it!
Thanks dude. I would say just practice so you’re voice is used to it don’t overdue it as that can damage your voice. Also drink plenty of water or green tea that helps me a lot especially at live shows. Hope this helps anyway dude not really good at explaining haha
The grit is hard if you're used to singing instead of screaming (I can do black metal and death metal vocals, but these "intermediate" are actually harder for me too) or doing melodic yet "harsh" vocals. I used to be able to do it easily when I didn't know how to sing between 14-17, then I learned how to sing and forgot how to do the whole grit thing. Remember that James couldn't sing for shit back then, so once he learned, it became harder to reproduce that grit live and in later albums (not just because of age).
@@cameronross6178 the focusrite condenser mic I believe not a bad mic for recording later on hoping to get the Shure microphone that other vocalist use and RUclipsrs use.
Hi mate. This sounds pretty cool, I like that. What would You say for collab? I have done all guitars and bass, drums are ready, only vocal is missing.

Why is it a half step lower?
Hey man because I'm used to singing it in e flat as Metallica do it now. :)
