I seen him in Belfast a few weeks ago....thank you so much for putting this up...i am really enjoying the memorys.......the man is a LIVING legend who would put people half his age to shame.....
True, a fantastic rendition, I prefer these ones compared to those on the LP. Also Cold Cold Heart, Van even said "Yeah, very good!" to the band at the end.
🕵😎.Mr. Van introduces The Band starting at 1:17.30. 🙏❤....🙂..is there Any reason This could Not have been a 'Pay-per-Venue'..🤗..What a Good Time..lol..🤷.
I didn't think we were allowed to use a proper camcorder at this event (or in any theatre). I always prefer to use a good camcorder if possible but didn't risk taking it that night.
Everybody was filming with their cellphones. I was almost in the first row, and for sure I was seen, but nobody cared. I am just so sorry that inadvertently I switched off the stabilizer, otherwise it would have a much better video quality. Luckily, audio quality is rather good.
Van's voice is fantastic and his band tight...but...the TOTAL ABSENCE of live classics from his 50 plus years career is astoundingly disappointing. Yeah...I get it Van's staying in the moment, but this moment he is turning his back on a huge canon of stellar material. Got to hear a half dozen classics if I'm ponying up $200 or more for a ticket.
Actually, this was a special event to support his new release, so the setlist was exclusive to present the live version of the tracks from his two latests records. He plays some of the old classics in the "normal" concerts, not in a special concert that was also advertized in this way. And the cost was some £75, not $200.
@massimomeregalli7321 Right on...thanks for the reply. I have so much of Van's music archived I have the tendency to play old material...very old and very eclectic. I also like to revisit the classic bands he fronted through the years. He's a powerhouse STILL. Thanks for hosting his stuff.
Really like Van the Man but this concert was about as exciting as watching a funeral dirge. The band looked somewhat disinterested. One moment of excitement, at 1 hour 15.15, when Van blows his nose during Shake, Rattle and Roll.
Rave on Van ❤️🎶💚
One of the best singers of all times. ❤😢
Rave on Van Morrison!
