What a beautiful story of God's mercy and forgiveness. I have to admit, I never gave too much thought to the book of Philemon but now I understand why one of the shortest books in the Bible that is often overlooked is also one of the most precious. A reminder how the Lord received us back to Himself after years of meandering as useless slaves to our sin. And as Paul pleaded on behalf of Onesimus to return to His master, our Lord Jesus Christ also restored us back to our Father. I cry out to Him with thanksgiving as well for all He has done. He gives us new mercies daily and is so good to us. May God bless you, brother Dave.
