Thanks! They are really good, only thing is these NA engines are prone to carbon deposits on the intake valves and they have to be manually cleaned every 30-40k miles. Other than that, great!
I got 2005 S4 b6 cab 4.2 V8 with a catback stainless fitted and just had back boxes delete but mines much quieter than that yours, also mine is much deeper with zero rasp too 🤷🏼♂️
Hi, can you specify which part of the exhaust was deleted? I have a B8 as well, with stock exhaust. I think you replaced the rear mufflers (by the rear bumper) with the straight pipe and not the resonator/muffler under the rear cabin? Can you confirm please? Thanks.
Yes it's lowered on H&R springs, I believe 25mm if I remember corectly. The car is still at MRC for the stage 3 tune, I'll fix that exhaust as soon as its back, I can't stand it either! Thanks!!
Hey just did my automatic 2012 s5 v8 I deleted my two back mufflers everything stock and first day car went into limp mode and I’ve never ever had a problem with my car
Completely unrelated. My guess is something was on its way out and you ragged it more because you like the sound of it haha. Get it scanned and see what code it throws...

Did you know if you turn esp off you can get full rev range while stationary? Sounds awesome btw. Do you get rough idling ever? Mine is a bit clunky on idle think I need to get it walnut blasted.
Thanks! I did turn the esp fully off but the limiter is still there. I had carbon issues yes, random missfires and a fuel pressure code. Cleaned it up nicely and it all went away. This was at 85k miles, valves looked really bad. I am now on 120k miles and cleaned it again. It was almost as bad as the first time, so they need cleaning at around 40k miles
Star Bound ahh, mines at around 84k now I had the same problems, changed all plugs and coils & then went for the traditional ‘carbon clean’, misfires went away pulls really nice now just a bit wobbly on idle. Awesome cars aren’t they!

Hey i was just wondering are the shifts supposed to feel jerky when you drive it hard? I just got mine and sometimes it really shutters the whole car when upshifting especially when paddle shifting on full throttle
They would fit in fine, but you’d have to get them coded to work accordingly The shape is a tiny bit different on those facelift rear lights which might bug you unless you decided to facelift the rear bumper as well
A mate of mine has a full Miltek system on, non resonated downpipes, and all the rest of it. It sounds good but much quieter than this and it's not such a deep burble. Also yes, that Miltek exhaust is about £1000 and I paid £230 for this, these V8s sound awesome with just the backbox delete. Last year I went to the Simply Audi event at Beaulieu and a guy had this backbox delete, I didn't know at first what he had, I thought he spent thousands on it :)) turns out... cheap backbox delete. Had mine done asap

I own a 2014 a4 Quattro, and sorry to all my fellow 4 cyls out there, but NONE of them sound good. Not one video Ive seen with a 2.0T modded to any degree, regardless of the crackling, sounds like an unrefined Lawn Mower. THIS sounds good. I mean yeah its a V8, but you can hear firing order, almost the individual explosions give you a visual idea whats going on in there. Spefically inline 4s, because I dont know enough of other ones except I think Boxer 4s sound pretty good. But i4s sound like youre blowing a loud stupid rusty horn. Ive tried to give so many chances watching A4 and A5 exhausts mods countlessly. They all underwhelming, and pretty much like a Loud inline 4 would. I know I sound like a hater but its just honestly an opinion I cant shake. This V8 sounds powerful, Mine...If I did anything to exhaust wouldnt sound powerf, it sounds loud, which makes me believe you want the appearence of powerful...because youre not... xP I like 4 cylinders for a variety of other reasons, especially mine, but face reality people, they sound like shit.
To me they sound the best right here. Not too much but sounds healthy. I wouldn’t change it. Anymore loud and it becomes annoying in side the car.

Thank you my man! I did try everything to bypass that rev limiter but it doesn't work on the auto unfortunately
@@evils5445 it's because the engine is cold, you shouldn't rev a cold engine high
@@Mipexdee I never rev the engine cold. Thats a cold start, but the revs where filmed elsewhere and the engine was at temp.

It was stock in that clip, except the rear backboxes delete. I have since fitted a supercharger, so stage 3 i guess in these stupid stage terms...

That's right. I replaced the rear mufflers (behind the bumper) with straight pipes. Midbox resonator is still there and everything else is stock

No drone at all. Only if you remove the mid resonator you'll get drone yeah

When you're full throttle you will feel the shifts because they are quite slow. But if its jerky when you drive normally, slow, somethings wrong
