These cute junk mail pockets can be used for more than just Junk Journals. The pockets can be used in lieu of traditional greeting cards as well. You can attach them to a wrapped gift and tuck a nice sentiment in the pocket, it can also be paper clipped to a gift bag, it's a stand alone card and a gift card or money can be placed in the pocket. I've also used them as junk journal toppers and toppers to a handmade greeting card. Use these in planners, diaries, smash books, glue books, scrapbooks, albums, and refrigerator art...so many uses. Tell me how you will use yours. Thank you for being here and watching my videos. :) Lily
I also use all junk mail envelopes. I use mine a bit differently. I have a Big Shot and i turn the envelopes inside out and use the pattern paper on the inside to cut flowers and butterflies. I then glue them onto my cards, just lovely. Thought I would pass this on to you.

I love, love, love seeing your process! I’m one of those that just happened to find your channel today, so Hello! Love your energy and your zest for your craft is infectious! I have ADHD and I can get overwhelmed looking at all the lovely things I’ve collected, so I love how you break down the steps into an assembly process, then get creative at later step. I'm so happy you found my channel. It's been a great day today. :) I've been "found" and I'm in awe with the immense response this video has brought me. Thank you! I appreciate you being here. You can do it and make your own Christmas journal. :)
I love this, Lilian! I feverishly collected every envelope. Now I make booklet type greeting cards (wedding, birthday), and stick in a decorated window envelope... in which I place the gift card or check.
You make my heart happy. My sister is always asking me..."Why do you need another envelope? Don't you have enough? " to answer her...NO! Watching your Assembly line helps too because sometimes I want to create, but I don't feel creative. This is a good way to get stuff organized, prepped, and ready for future use. I've just started watching you and I have you on Alert, so that I can get your next video. Thanks again for inspiring myself and others.
Hello and thank you so much for being here. I appreciate you clicking the notification bell! :) Never enough envelopes because believe it or not you will run out...I have, twice! :D
I am one of those people you mentioned who stumbled upon this video! I have been saving those pretty, shiny, and colorful envelopes that usually come from a certain place who sends credit card offers. And I have been planning to use them somehow in card making or journaling once I finally get started. I have been collecting supplies for several years now but sadly obstacles in life have gotten in the way each time I am about to start creating and then it doesn't happen. But, I am finally getting really close now! I am super happy to see that I am not the only one who loves to save junk mail envelopes and such to use for other purposes. I am also happy to have found this video sharing ideas on how to use the other kinds of envelopes that I didn't think I could use for anything other than saving receipts in or writing my grocery lists and such on. I don't receive very many of the ones with windows in them, but moving forward I will surely be looking at all of the envelopes I receive in a different light. 😊 I subscribed and clicked on the notification bell and I am looking very forward to watching more of your videos! Thank you!
Hello and welcome. Thank you so much for being here. I also use junk mail for shopping lists, lol...I bet we all do! :D Sounds like you've had your share of hiccups but I'm glad to know you will soon be able to carve out some crafty time. I'm happy you are here, now let's get started. :)
@@LilianGuerrero thank you so much! I'm not sure why this just now popped up in my notifications, but I am glad that I am seeing it now. And after I wrote this message to you, I discovered that I actually get quite a lot of junk mail envelopes with windows in them. I guess I just never really noticed them before because I was just opening them roughly and then putting them in the trash. I am happy to say, that I now have quite a nice little stash of them started in a little box. All thanks to you! 😊 Have a wonderful weekend!
I have never learned so much from a video and it was so pleasant and wonderful and I just thank you so much for going step-by-step because these are just absolutely fabulous creations of yours. I didn’t catch where you got the big flowers that you put on, but I can go back in the video and check. I think you said Amazon, so thank you so much, dear.

I dont see myself making anything like these, but they are absolutely adorable & so is your personality! 💞 i enjoyed this video, i love the fact nothing goes to waste! Happy crafting! ❤
These are great. I love using junk for junk journals. I'm not using new stuff, including printables, for a while. That is the whole point to me anyway. Thanks for sharing your method.
Hi, Lily! I've watched numerous videos on how to make ephemera from junk mail envelopes, and yours is the best by far! I did a mass make of pockets and tucks this morning, using up my stash of envelope and scraps. So satisfying! Thank you and Happy New Year!
Thank you for all your tips and ideas for repurposing our stuff. I am looking forward to your Christmas videos. Your enthusiasm and energy is so nice to hear. ♥️
This is an amazing video, I love the use of garbage envelopes and book pages. I just came across your channel and am pleasantly surprised! Thank you for sharing your ideas!
Hi there! I'm new, & I also slit open my envelopes! Oopps!! I'll try not to do that any more!! I love the pockets & tucks that you made out of the junk envelopes! Gives me lots of ideas! Thanks for the inspiration!!
First time watching you and a new beginner of making a junk journal 📔 . I love 💕 the idea of repurposing junk mail. Great tutorial looking forward to watching more.
I just found you today also, and I'm so happy. Of course I shouldn't rip into my mail excitedly and tear the flap and maybe even part of the envelope! I need to slow down and trim the end. What a great tip! I needed that! I loved how you decorated them.
Just discovered your channel and this video and I have never been so excited thinking about junk mail and scrap paper!! 😂 Your humour and energy are so friendly and endearing. ❤ I really appreciate what you are doing and I should be asleep already but I can't stop watching. Thank you Lily!!! 😊
❤❤❤I absolutely love your technique. Easy and fast and wonderfully delightful. Thanks for sharing. I plan to make a stash of those this week. Love your enthusiasm. I’m going to check out your other videos.
This is very helpful. I already have my envelopes nicely stored according to Windows, large Windows, no windows, and very large envelopes. But I don't use them as often as I could and I think if I do this prep work I will use them more often. I love the idea of the book pages inside and collaging on them. So then they're ready for whatever color I would want. Thank you so much for this video
I get frustrated trying to glue that background book page into the envelope and it NEVER occurred to me to slide it in and fold & glue over the top onto the back!!! Woman! You are genius! Thank you

Thank you for such a great idea for recycling junk!!!
You are so welcome! 😊
I just found you today also, and I'm so happy. Of course I shouldn't rip into my mail excitedly and tear the flap and maybe even part of the envelope! I need to slow down and trim the end. What a great tip! I needed that! I loved how you decorated them.
Thank you so much! I'm so glad you found it helpful.

Very pretty! Thanks!
Thank you! 😊 I appreciate you watching my videos.
Glad it was helpful! You're already half way there. Thank you for being here and watching my video. :)

Thanks for watching!
I get frustrated trying to glue that background book page into the envelope and it NEVER occurred to me to slide it in and fold & glue over the top onto the back!!! Woman! You are genius! Thank you
Hehe, thank you! I do what I can to help. 😁
Love this! We all have paper scraps and embellishments to use up!! I tear out pictures from magazines to use in projects.
Yes! Thank you! Magazine cutouts to line the inside of the pockets would be a great look. 😊
Just found your channel today and, yes, I subscribed! Love these envelopes. Will be going back and watching more of your videos.
