i'm a mavs fan. and if y'all never seen this guy play on daily basis, lemme tell ya this, this guy is a certified bucket and killa. his footwork is very astonishing, he has very underrated playmaking due to him not getting enough recognition by media, he is 6'1 who can rebound and literally hustle to get it from guys who are 7 inches taller than him... or even more, when he gets to the paint he is an automatic bucket, his scoop lay up and mid range are an automatic swish... and i ain't even kidding. if he keeps improving on his consistency and vision, he finna be better than at least a guy like vanvleet and i can bet to any of y'all that he will be an all star in like 4-5 years

There are limits to how much you can offer players on rookie contracts, and because he was a second round pick I think it was something in the field of 12 mil a year (don't quote me on that though, it might have been a little more). In order to get what he deserves, which is probably around or slightly more than THJ money, he's going to have to become an Unrestricted Free Agent. Even if he were traded, the other team would have this same issue. He's going to hit UFA, he just might hold off on all other offers until the hears from the mavs
I saw JB play the Bulls in Chicago and up close, I was so blown away by how fast he was! Not to mention how quickly he could change gears, it only made him look so much faster

JB showing that playing 100mph ag all times is just not efficient. The pace to his game is crazy. He can serve you up and his teammates as well Dallas not letting him go.
JB is a scary nba player. I'd hate to have to guard him. He is, in my opinion, the same kind of player as Luka, just not quite as good. They can both control the speed of the game, score easily from anywhere, throw assists like crazy and the IQs are clearly higher than the average NBA player. I've enjoyed watching this dude since he's been a mav and before. Cold.

and he is also one of the proof that rick carlisle ain't as good as y'all might think ( he's good tho but not that good ). during carlisle era, him and green never gotten the chance that they need to keep improving. carlisle keeps depending on luka which makes us hella inconsistent for the past years. and now, , brunson's showing some improvement under kidd and sweeney because they both are actually giving him a literal 25 to 30 minutes of playing time.

He'll probably get something similar to what THJ got. Around 18mil for 4. Or maybe 20mil for 3. I think it's a good offer.
