Regarding IN or ON when referring to transport vehicles, I usually explain that in is for small vehicles in which you cannot walk to get to the seat.On the other hand, the preposition on is used for those larger vehicles, in which we walk on the floor to reach the seat. On the plane, in the helicopter, in the car, in the taxi, on the ship, on the bus. We also need to get on the horse and motorcycle in order to get around. 🙃🇬🇧🇧🇷

Hello, Emma! thank you for this video! I've got a question about "grey areas" expression. It's smth unclear for me personally (because I'm not an expert in the area) OR It's smth unclear for everyone (ex. some law is not written carefully)??? Can I say "It's a grey area for me. Марина Любшина 👨🏻🏫 Hello. Mr Teacher here in England 🏴. When we speak about a ‘grey area’ we are uncertain or doubtful about something. Great video. I was thinking that "in school" can be explained as a student "inside the session" or "inside school hours", and at school is being at the physical location. However, one wouldn't say at school unless you're also a student (at least in the USA). For example: If my mom is "at the school" for a parent-teacher conference since the mom isn't a student I'd specify "at the school" since it's not her school, it's her child's school.
