Hi~ Thanks for your reaction to FORESTELLA. For those who do not know about FORESTELLA, I'd love to tell you about this group briefly. They've met at a TV audition program called "Phantom Singer 2" which finds the best male cross-over quartet in South Korea in 2017 for the first time. These 4 guys were included(survived) in the final 12 singers among hundreds of applicants. And, the program PD divided those 12 amazing singers into 3 groups as the singers want. And, guess what? They(FORESTELLA) won this contest!!! When they sing on the stage, they normally set their positions like this. The first one from the left side is Ko Woo-rim(bass, a grad-schooler in vocal music), the second one is Kang Hyeong-ho(soprano, ex-chemist), the third one is Cho Min-kyu(tenor, M.A. degree in vocal music) and the fourth one is Bae Doo-hoon(tenor, musical actor) There're many amazing songs they've covered. Love them all! Kang Hyung ho's 4 octaves roller coaster singing ability because he was born with god's gifted voices. He joined Forestella(group was formed during singing semi final audition) at age 30 years old while he was working as a chemist researcher at lab without any professional singing training. Jo Min Gyu's capacity of energy output is great support for team because he is bright, full of energy, and has a lots of spontaneous sense of humor, majored Opera singing from top notch University. Bae Du hoon's previous career as a musical actor, he knows how to bring such high emotional tension so it brings the tears from people's heart so easily. Ko Woo rim's base deep tone of voices always back up whole group's harmony. He is like a foundation of the house built. I appreciate all of them so much because it brings my boring working hard day with more joy by listening to their songs! Thank you for your reaction!
In always wonder what the heck was going through Freddie’s mind when he wrote this song. It’s a master piece and he passed way too soon. Just think of all the other songs he would have written, he was brilliant. Love the whole band Queen.
Thank you for your wonderful reaction to Forestella again! It's hard to find a song to top this Bohemian Rhapsody, the song per se. But I think their interpretation for the masterpieces is superb. I was not a big fan of Shape of you, Bad Romance or Nella Fantasia etc but they made me love their version. I can feel they are respecting alot and true to the original songs like Sound of Silence, Scarborough Fair and added creative touch even on My Favorite Things, Time in a bottle and so on, did justice to the song like Smooth Criminal etc etc. They are very versatile and nailed every song they touched. I think you better start with very well-known songs like Shape of you (Forestella sang it in English, Spanish and isiZulu) or Bad Romance (original by Lady Gaga). But if you wanna see their operatic side more, Parla piu piano and Inner Universe would impress you. For more rocking side, their Sweet Dreams, Warriors, Lazenca Save us. For more angelic harmony, Angel, In un'altra vita, Nella Fantasia, Dell'amore non si sa can be their preview for Heaven. So it's up to you. What kind of song you'd love? More Queen? Even Queen never sang that middle section live. They would leave the stage as the Operatic section played on a recorded video, and return just as it was finishing. Forestella do it fully live. When Cho Mingyu sings "Mama just killed a man..." 😭 Probably Bad Romance, Time in a bottle, Hijo de La Luna, or, Lazenca, save us, would be my suggestions.

i think its foul because the sentence was not goodly attributed at each vocal capacities: the bad voice singing the bad sentence. its break the song. its not a good job even this quartet have the capaciti to make a better job than here.

Queen and they are singers with different voices, different cultures, different values, different looks, different musical directions, and different personalities, so they can never be the same, and they never need to be the same. If they tried to copy Queen's charm as it is, they would lose their musical value. Cover songs are only part of the creative activity that expands the music of the original song, not competition. There is not a single singer in the world who tries a cover song to compete with the original song. The original song has the meaning and value of the original song, and the cover song has the charm of enjoying a new musical interpretation. Comparison is never necessary. Bro! The tempo of this cover song is different from the original song. The ballad part at the beginning of the song has a slower tempo than the original song. Also, no one in the world has the same voice. Their voices are not at all like Freddie's. They also have different singing styles and vocal skills. They freely come and go between rock, opera, and ballad singing, creating harmony not found in the original song. Their cover songs are richer in interpretation and rollercoaster-like emotions than the originals. I respect your taste. But it's not okay to be sarcastic about the singer who did the cover just because you don't like it. If you throw away wrong song information and approach without prejudice, all the songs in this world will be yours.😊

So I got curious about Queen's original song. I end up listening to them a few times just to figure out what it is. I had no emotion to link to it and no tears from my heart and eyes. That explains everything to me. But I do respect your own choice the original song. But by saying "who ever it is and what ever they do" is telling me Hmm this person has no interest to find out who these quarte crossover group is.
