    Minnesota Rancher. You have a lot invested in snares, bait, time, travel ect. Hope the wolves get hungry and you can connect with a few more. Thanks for sharing.

      Yes lots gets invested in every way but it’s part of the game . They will be back !

    They can’t all be bangers. I’m sure the wolves will cycle back through and a few will get hung up. Good luck out there!

    Rob u need a small drone When you said everything looks so different because of all the snow,I feel the same , until I kept a written note book on all the sets , it helped a lot

      I do have a drone and have used it at the baits before and gives a whole new perspective of the area ..

    With the deeper snow you got now can you put up some extra fencing around your snares to help funnel them in better?

    • @BusterCreekOutdoors
      @BusterCreekOutdoors  8 месяцев назад

      I find fencing deters them .. and unfortunately all my snow melted once again

    How much less is a coyote skin over a wolf?

    • @BusterCreekOutdoors
      @BusterCreekOutdoors  8 месяцев назад +1

      Coyotes are not worth much if anything this year and wolves usually get a couple hundred to a few hundred bucks .. but I never sell my fur on the market as it all gets tanned and made in to hats and mitts.

  • @donvincent895

    Isn’t that unusual to have that many coyotes in the same area as the wolves

    • @BusterCreekOutdoors
      @BusterCreekOutdoors  8 месяцев назад +1

      6-7 years ago yes but now the coyote population has gotten fairly high so they are always in the baits regardless if the wolves are around or not ..

  • @KenCaudle

    See you don't put stops or break away s on your snares surprise that is legal

    • @Vernbubba
      @Vernbubba 8 месяцев назад +1

      Canada you don’t have to use all that extra bullshit like stops and breakaways

    • @KenCaudle
      @KenCaudle 8 месяцев назад

      Breakaway is a good deal get a moose they can get loose doesn't effect the snares at all

    • @wonaegun7143
      @wonaegun7143 8 месяцев назад

      Thats fine , But watch your snaring privileges go up in smoke!@@Vernbubba

    • @BusterCreekOutdoors
      @BusterCreekOutdoors  8 месяцев назад

      Never any stops .. but do use breakaways on the snares with kill springs ..
