That was an excellent interview. I was lucky to work with Kirk in a professional capacity. He was a spokesperson for a brand I managed, and he was as genuine with me at lunch on the set, as he is here with Coach and Dayne, as he is on the set. Definitely going to buy his book.
Football starts at 6:15. The first six minutes are about his book. I don’t know who Bama’s backup QB is but I’m not sure Young lasts all year. He’s fast but small.

Why is no one talking about our defensive line? We’ve got more talent than anyone in the country…Jordan Davis, Anderson, Smith, etc…guess I’m missing something
The same reason nobody talks about the offensive line. It’s not “flashy” or “sexy.” Most of Clemson’s D-line are flashy, get to the QB guys. Most of their pass rush comes from their ends. Most of our pass rush comes from our LBs, specifically our outside LBs. Our D-linemen are just a bunch of mammoth, block eating, run smothering monsters. Not much flash, but man do they limit what you can do between the tackles. I personally don’t care they’re not talking about us. It gives the guys a lil chip on their shoulder. Nobody’s talking about them as much as Clemson’s, but I assure you they’re going to feel us come Saturday.
Pretty good interview... just glad the dude didn't cry or go woke on us. In more important news, I think you guys (UGA) have a fantastic team. I wouldn't be surprised if you guys kick the crap out of Clemson and easily run the table in the East. Bama will be Bama, but they seem a little more vulnerable this year as compared to some others (maybe this is wishful thinking); the talent level is there, of course, but the experience is not. You guys will have a fantastic shot at winning the conference, and hopefully this will be the year that one of Saban's former assistants beat his ass.
