A play in game for the playoffs sounds amazing no more arguing between who gets the 3 or 4 spot way less stress on the Committee and less popular school get a opportunity 💯

I still think Texas A&M will be better than UGA this year.

I think Donnan got a raw deal at Georgia and still represents them. Too bad the loyalty on Georgia's side was not the same as Donnan's. He was building a winner.

Transfer Protocol Rules: 1. You can not transfer to a program the had, in the prior year, a higher winning percentage than the school you are at.

I do respect you and your guests. But let’s not overdue the importance of 5 star players. If you don’t develop them to their full potential then it means nothing. Example when South Carolina beat or when Butch Jones Tennessee beat you at home with Josh Dobbs Hell Mary. Both teams that won the day where 3 star recruits. Now if you could do a model of Georgia’s roster today but with Alabama’s Coaching Staff. That Georgia team would beat every college and more and likely Tampa Bay. So yes I am saying Kirby Smart has a good recruiting team but he doesn’t develop players to all they can be. And I have seen him make bone head coaching decisions. Good lock to you, but coming second is just the first looser.

No college team could beat an NFL team. I’m a big bulldogs fan but don’t get carried away. Alabama wouldn’t beat Jacksonville from last year. UGA needs a QB and if that issue is solved then they will win a national championship

Donnan never coached again. Neither did Goff. Richt coached 3 seasons?
Is UGA the place where football coaches go to retire?

With Goff, he was an all SEC performer for the Dawgs and is red and black through and through. He was never coaching anywhere else. Donnan was a guy who worked years and years for that one big job and got it at UGA. After he was let go, I don’t think he wanted to start that journey again. Richt, I honestly believe his continuing to coach was just to prove he could still do it at a high level because it did not end well at UGA. I feel it was time to part ways with him, but he didn’t take it kindly, like most coaches or anyone who is fired. I think once Richt’s pride got out of the way he realized he was tired and didn’t need to prove anything to anyone. UGA, like Alabama, Ohio State, Oklahoma, etc are destination jobs. Many coaches don’t go many years after they leave those places. They take a lot out of you. That’s just my humble opinion.

@@blakeware6830 with Richt, I’m convinced that when the university president decided to force Richt’s hand and made him fire his friend Willie Martinez, I think that had to have killed his fire. It certainly opened his eyes to the political realities that the coach really isn’t the coach. Even going home to Miami, I’m sure that he saw things differently than before and it just wasn’t enough to overcome that political reality.

@@dustypeppers1358 You know UGA fans act all high and mighty but since 2014, UF leads the rivalry 4-3. I simply do not see the rivalry domination that Georgia fans are talking about. Georgia has its best period since 1980 from 2017-2018 which also happened to be 2 transition years for Florida with 3 different head coaches. Dan Mullen has your number. You may win in 2021 but it won't ever again be so easy for Kirby to win against Florida like it was in 2017 and in the 4th quarter of 2018.
