Me too! This is two watches in a row with a deep, midnight blue. Love this almost black dial, though. Runner up for me is the light blue Sea Glass....but I like the versions that are sans chapter ring better. They need to sell THESE pouches on their own!
SWC never disappoints, and this GMT is another awesome watch. Love the design and GMT wheel, very original. The leather pouch is very nice too. Price is great for the quality and specs. Well done SWC. Thank you for sharing Witt.
@@WatchWitt I have the Bunker. Getting the titanium bracelet to go with it soon. I’ve got two VB Lea’s. He’s releasing a new watch in the next couple months. A GMT
The Bunker is a fan favorite! I’ll bet the titanium bracelet takes it to the next level. The LEA from VanBanner is what hooked me on the brand…I bought mine super early bird. Always looking forward to the next VB!
Great review as usual Mr Witt. I really Dig their usage of the date window for the GMT and I really Dig that concaved dial. That watch manages to look simple and elegant at the same time.
Yeah, you nailed it, Roland…simple and elegant! The GMT window approach is a great way to read that complication. I’m enjoying the sparkle that comes from the center of the logo, too!
GMT is functionless like that. As for low end quartz, stainlesss case, the whole lume measurement, this seems like big compromise to the standard ARK. Just wish they had them in stock.
Functionless how? I’m getting great use out of it, as an office GMT. I think they could have given this model it’s own name, though. I love the original ARK…might be my favorite SWC! BTW, my naked eye can’t notice anything suspect with the lume…it’s bright and long lasting as ever. In fact, I feel like it’s brighter in the morning (end of lume viewing) than other SWCs I’ve had!
That's usually my theory too, and I can actually appreciate that move if you KNOW they're not going to hit. But, you'll notice that these hit each 5 seconds pretty bang on. AND they have two variations of this model that DO have a minute track all the way around. So, it's just a style choice. I like it!
@@jcwindsound Yes, exactly. The one in this review pretty much hits each 5 second, too. I have another watch with this movement and it hits nicely too. I know that's only half of the equation...accurate dial markings and dial alignment to case, etc all play a part.
Looks great and I love that concave dial.
This is the colorway that I would go with if I were to purchase one for my collection. I really like that leather pouch as well.

Really nice looking watch! Those hands in particular are real class 😱
They are! I'm always impressed with their handsets. This one is no different. Love when light reflects off of them!
Great looking watch, gmt window is going to catch on.
I think so too. It’s a more casual approach to the complication. Pros and cons forthcoming…

I like how they managed to stay in the field watch genre but added some aesthetics that break tradition. Classy looking piece from SWC for sure!
Thanks for showing Van Banner some love 9:19
I LOVE VanBanner watches! Coincidentally, SWC is one of my favorite brands too.

Happy New Year Witt. Editing my Ark video as we speak.
Happy New Year! Cool...looking forward to it. I'm diggin' this one for sure!
Really enjoy the concave dial. A nice twist that I don't see many micros doing.
And it's subtle until you WANT to see it...or view at an angle.
Man SWC arc GMT looks great they came up with a different version of a GMT which is interesting in a good way
Love this GMT window! There are pros and cons, but overall I’m diggin’ it so far.
Great video! One thing I am concerned about would be the handset blocking out the GMT window too frequently. Beautiful watch, nevertheless.
Good point! It does a little, but since you have a wide window you can usually get a peek at a number.
I have one of these I’m a fan
Classy looking watch. The more I wear it, the more I get Dress Field Watch vibes!
Beautiful. But,overpriced quartz.. and no day, no date, Hard Pass unless bought much cheaper. Well done Witt.
There's much more quality to the build than the movement alone, but I hear you.

Ridiculous . These are quartz so it's crap
Why the quartz hate?! Well, if you were into quartz, you'd know that this is a very reliable, Swiss Ronda GMT movement.
I got a theory. They haven't put minute markers to hide the second hand not hitting the target all way round.

I have the gray version with minute markers. Can only speak for my particular watch, but it hits the markers every time.
