I saw this guy with a band called the conspirators featuring Slash (Lead Guitarist for _Guns N’ Roses)_ open for Aerosmith at the Xfinity Center in the late 2000s & their setlist was like a _Guns N‘ Roses_ greatest hits album… except Miles was way better than Axl… on the same token, my best friend since second grade saw G N’ R (not long before I saw Slash w/ Miles Kennedy) & he said Buckethead was way better than Slash… but the reunited before releasing _Chinese Democracy_ I assume because like the Steel Dragon rythm guitarist says in the 2000 movie _Rockstar_ “Our Die Hard Fans have Expectations, and if we lost one fan we lose 5 fans, 5 fans quickly turns into 50 fans & before ya know it…we’re playing to a half-empty hall & out lost sheep are buying tickets to see let’s say _Ratt…”_ The people who buy guns & roses tickets & albums are trying to recapture the feeling they got seeing them in 1989 & they’d much rather have a lead guitarist up there with a tophat on his head playing a 1959 Gibson Flametop Les Paul than a guy with a KFC Bucket with a Flying V painted in the same colors/patterns of a KFC Bucket…. Ya know what the real bitch of it is?!? KFC probably sent him a Seis & Desist letter instead of royalties for advertising for them
He needs a good sense of humour to get him through life. He's the guy who hangs with real rock stars who tore it up in the 80s who wouldn't have gave him a 2nd glance back in the day but now tolerate him and let him belt out a song or 2 every now and then. If Scott was still with us he wouldn't get a snifter!!!
He already announced himself in Alter bridge fool...None gave him a chance ...Slash choose him over all the singers he worked with ...he himself said Myles is the greatest leads singer he has ever worked with...And there is a reason Jimmy page wanted him to be the only possible choice to lead lead Zeppelin .... Hands down one of the greatest singers technically ...a great guitar player...the writer of Blackbird...one of the greatest songs ever released...Put some respect on that Name ....And To be fair if he was in the 80s we would be seeing him as the face to fucking rock
@gessabrek shut tf up. geez. you’re some special idiot. please do some research before posting a stupid comment. there’s a reason Slash chose him over all the other singers he worked with, there’s a reason why Jimmy Page wanted Myles for a Zeppelin type project. Myles has been with Alter Bridge since 2004, before that he was in The Mayfield Four, did you know that Slash originally contacted Myles around 2003 for what became Velvet Revolver? but Myles said no as he was busy because Alter Bridge were forming around the same time. just please, shut tf up. idiot.
“no wonder he didn’t do it” you say that, while Jeff plays county fairs & bars. on the other hand, Myles plays arenas & festivals & sells out every tour he does, either w Slash, Alter Bridge or Solo. why don’t I ever see one of Jeff’s bands play Download, Hellfest, Rock am Ring, Graspop or so? another idiot on the internet. how surprising.
He didnt even miss the beat. Great sense of humor. I love artists that love their fans❤
I just love him. Such an outstanding human being and musician. What TALENT, can't wait to see him a 3rd time.
You suck him off yet?
Love that song and love Rockstar!!
It's a great movie and sooo underrated!
Especially cause Myles and Michael Starr (Steel Panther) was in it!!! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Ronnie smiling down on him from rock and metal heaven hell yeah!🤘🎸
Thooorrrr! In fairness, that's the only line he had in the movie. He never had to learn the whole song.
Well Miljenko has a killer voice and Myles knows it, it's a hard song to sing on the spot.
Myles sings this song much better
Well it was actually Jeff Scott Soto who recorded that song for the movie. 🤷🏽♂️
Sammy Hagar wrote the song
Miles played the replacement singer at the end of the movie
Such a nice and cool guy.
He actually sing that note like say " i'm gonna go to bathroom"
Love this man!
Love this movie.
Always that one person yelling Freebird
I feel like if he actually learned the song, it’d be such a great cover
😍

He Can't sing that song
Yes he can, in Rockstar movie
He can, he was just fucking around. Besides he didnt have a band and only had a resonator guitar.

Says Axl's fanboy, get a life dude
He is no Jeff Scott Soto, no wonder he didnt do it
he was just fucking around lol. Im sure if he wanted to actually sing that song with a band and didnt just have a resonator with him he could do it.
