    I am a Japanese player and thank you for the video.
    I am always having trouble losing to Zen when using nuu.
    I understand the game plan for the video.
    But I feel that with the game plan in the video, I often lose because of Zen's AA of 4 after the big turn, which reduces my life little by little.
    I would like to hear more about Nuu vs Zen.
    I would love to draft with international players.

      Thanks for watching! As for drafting, the site is called draftmancer.com and the discord to play with other online players is the TCGRunaways discord. I don't have permissions to give invite, but there are plenty of ways to find other ways into the discord.
      As for Nuu vs Zen. As Nuu I want to play to the second cycle looking to make use of my 3 block cards. Equipment is very important here to help block those 4 attacks like red Flex Claws. Try to block with 2-3 cards to send back 1-2 cards at them. You're looking for chip damage, life gain, and banishing effects. Once you reached that second cycle look to use Nuu's ability to use Zen's cards against himself.
      Another strategy is if you drafted a ton of attack reactions then you can set up massive attack reacts turns. Try to block efficiently while putting in arsenal an attack react. You're waiting for a hand with 1-2 attack reactions, a blue, and a stealth attack. This allows you to take your opponent by surprise by delivering massive damage all at once. (This is a more aggressive playstyle that I look to play in the mirror but can work against Zen.)
      Finally another thing to consider is that Zen doesn't block often. This means that if you swing with the Beckoning Mistblade then there's a good chance it'll hit to give your blue attack +1 and go again. You can plan your turn accordingly to this to get multiple attacks in. Be aware of Zen's equipment as this can look to block your dagger. Also be sure to do the math and make sure that you are dealing more damage than taking damage.
      I hope this helps and feel free to comment anything more. :)

    Hey SNEEP! Thanks for the awesome guide on how to draft it has been super helpful IRL. However could you hook us up with the draftmancer cardlist so we can try it out online as well? Thanks!

    Great content!
    So would you generally keep focussing on your plan of sending signals p1p1 as in your first example so you'll be going into a hero p1p2, even if you open a bomb like red bastion/blanch or something like that?

    • @SNEEP.
      @SNEEP.  4 месяца назад

      Thanks!
      It definitely depends on the cards in pack. You're right that red Blanch/bastion is a bomb and I would be happy to open. If there's no strong signals to send in the pack then those generics would be my pick. If there is a bomb in another class, I'd be happy to take the generic and keep in mind the class of the bomb I'm passing for my next pick. If there are multiple bombs (red pouncing qi and red hiss) then I would be in a situation where by picking the generic I'm also picking illusionist as my class since my neighbors to my left will take the two bombs. In that case I would opt to pick one of the class bombs and let the generic bomb pass. This allows me to stay open between two classes.
      Hope this helps and thanks for the question.

      @@SNEEP. wouldnt it be a win that you are pushing them in ninja and assassin while you could go illusionist with red Bastion? But I understand the thought process!

    • @SNEEP.
      @SNEEP.  4 месяца назад

      It would be so long as my neighbor passing to me isn't Illusionist ( which even then still might be ok). I think the draft could go either way here and it would seem to be in our favor. Whatever the choice that's made, discerning what our neighbor passing to us is will be the key as well as sending strong signals. I like this engagement and truly there's no right or wrong here. I hope we get to draft in the same pod on draftmancer at some point as it would seem you have a good amount of drafting knowledge.

    Another question! How would you react when at the same time you send a signal to go a class, you receive the same signal from the other side. Do you stay in that class or adapt? I know it depends as in your example you will probably eat well pack 2 for assassin's class but sometimes it is a problem that has occured. Definitely when people dont really read signals either.

    • @SNEEP.
      @SNEEP.  4 месяца назад

      The easiest draft are the ones with the most competitive players because of signal reading. However, most armories and sometimes big events don't have a pod of open-minded drafters. Therefore, understand whom you are passing to in order to gauge if you can send signals or not. If you feel your neighbor can pick up signals then I would suggest keep passing the class card you passed in the beginning. Eat well pack 2.
      If you are unsure if your neighbor can read signals then study your pack. If you have some really good cards to send pack 1 (majestics, red bombs, even shiny cards sometimes) then stick to the plan. I find that most people don't commit on pick 1 but instead pick 2. So if you can send a strong signal then I would do so. If your pack isn't full of bombs, but instead just two good cards (1 for you and 1 for your neighbor) then you can decide what to do on the next pack.
      If you know your neighbor is a forcer or can't read signals too well then two things. They probably arn't very competitive so even if you are in the same class as them you'll probably have better knowledge of what cards are good and what cards arn't. Second, you can decide to treat pack 1 and 3 as most important packs. This can work fine, but if your neighbor that passing to you decides to switch to your class you can be in a world of hurt. So if you plan to do this strategy try to stay open longer to determine what class is the safe choice.

    Thanks for a solid video! I don't understand the argument about pack 2 being the most important though. You had privilege to pack 2 and the other Assassin had it in both packs 1 and 3. No matter how you think about it, you were still in their downstream. It's fine though, I think it was correct to go Nuu here but the other dude was in the advantageous seat.

    • @SNEEP.
      @SNEEP.  4 месяца назад

      Thanks! I understand your argument and would totally approach the draft differently on more open sets. For this set Pack 1 is about sending signals to set up for pack 2. Pack 2 will be where your best draft cards are taken, then pack 3 will be the blue filler needed. That's my approach for this set so as long as pack 2 serves me well I'm generally happy with the draft. I hope that explains my point of view better, either way though thanks for the feedback!

      I agree with user's comment strongly I think.
      I come from mtg and in general he's got the right approach for that game, and I bet in general it's best for flesh and blood.
      I think You're saying in this draft specifically is the exception, and although I'm an absolute noob to flesh and blood, I think I disagree with your first 10 minutes.
      This is indicated by the exact guy you lost to. Its not a coincidence. Because in general, when you read signals you get advantageous picks in TWICE the packs than if you're trying to control and send signals. I think.

    I'm really confused by picking assassin cards to stay open. Why ship a solid mystic or a straight up bomb on pack one pick one? No one else has knowledge of the pack, all they would see is a missing rare.

      by picking a "less important" card and sending a signal to the next 2-3 people, you can guess what they play and adjust accordingly. for this very example, by picking an assassin card and passing 2 bombs of illu and ninja, he can guess at least 3 next person will have one ninja and one illu. because they don't have open knowledge about what you have or what is next, they will naturally pick the strong card and force the pick as what you predicted (and maybe open slots for passing another solid choice in your class and you will pray it can reach you)
      or on 2nd example, it's the only "good choice" so you basically hate pick on that to avoid people get access to the important pieces
