I bought this deck at a convention earlier since I love Three Kingdoms stuff. You explained it quite well! I also appreciate the spinning Herta animation!

I just recently started getting into GA and decided to pick up the Kongming starter because of the shifting currents mechanic. This video was a fantastic help! 💜
Oh lovely I have been eying Kongming for a few days now😂 is the deck worth the price? Especially as I’m guessing it will take quite a few cards from the set to make it a bit more viable consistent and stronger I really Appreciated the detailed explanation on the cards a fair amount of interactions I was not aware of. Is Kongming really based after a real person in history? I had no idea that’s actually really cool ❤ Thanks for the video
new player here, i always thought you had to set up your direction and prepare your next spell for the direction bonus. I found out otherwise during the release day, but i wish i knew earlier. I didn't know placing all those cards banished for Coronal under it is acceptable. It looks easier to manage. I just put in a separate pile next to banish to clarify that it's still banished but for a specific purpose
What cards would you recommend swapping out or around for these upgrades if I may ask. Also could you provide an upgraded list? Thank you for the awesome video

I think when we were testing we favored taking out cards like Idle Thoughts, Devoted Bloomweaver, Ruinous Pillars of Qidao, and Formidable Youxia. Hold on a minnow I’m confused here🤔 How is going from north to south considered to be an Adjacent direction in terms of Kongmings shifting currents mastery?. I was under the general impression that Adjacent directions referenced the direction on ether side of them🤔🤔 IE… like shifting from north to west west to south or north to east? How is going from north to south an Adjacent direction ? Am I missing something here
Hi there! You're absolutely right that going from North to South isn't an adjacent direction - could you tell me if there's a part of the video where I'm going from North to South when I shouldn't? I just checked and couldn't find a spot like that... Perhaps you may be thinking of the Shifting Currents ability which lets you change directions on your end phase? In those cases you can go any direction, it doesn't have to be adjacent!
@ I was actually thinking about shifting currents ability to change direct at your end phase🤔 honestly. despite having picked up the deck myself I failed to notice it’s ability is not restricted to changing to adjacent directions, I have been looking at its ability with to narrow of a mindset it seems. I’m very much looking forward to that set and the new decks. Any ideas at all about what elements or classes Diao Chen or Guo Jia will have? I preordered both re collection decks as I liked the art for the characters, however I have zero idea what their elements or classes are😅
Good question! It's pretty much treated like a regular card activation so cards would go where they normally go afterwards (in most cases, the graveyard) Confirmed with my judge friend as well 👍

Wait the Tera sight goes under coronal of Rej? I thought it needed to be banished as a cost not as the effect for coronal?
It has been confirmed that paying the cost for the coronel still counts as banishing with coronel

Good question! It's pretty much treated like a regular card activation so cards would go where they normally go afterwards (in most cases, the graveyard)
