Demonstrating the range of musical forms that Shirley has influenced, this powerful version of The Poor Murdered Woman comes from Norwegian experimental musical collective Ulver - a band more associated witha band more associated with metal and avant garde than conventional folk music. Shirley recorded the song with The Albion Country Band in 1971.
