Very nice ride. On last Tuesday i picked up my new RE Classic 350 at the dealership. My first ride was so nice. I can’t wait to make tours with this motorcycle. I have planned a tour from Germany to Denmark this year. An some other tours around here in Germany, to Belgium and the Netherlands. Greetings from Germany :)
Northumbria is a good shout. I was up there last year in the car and can’t wait to go back on the bike and maybe do the Northumberland 250. There are some great roads with very little traffic and there are lots of ‘just look at that view’ moments 😀
Can highly recommend Haggs Bank campsite in Cumbria. Perfectly set up for camper vans, tents, or even hammocks. Also bunkhouse for through hikers/cyclists, or those who just don’t fancy a night under canvas. Great roads/views in the area, even better. Very motorbike friendly.
Where did you buy those gloves from Dave ? . Top marks for turning out in this weather, although today Friday 31 Jan, the temperature is just above freezing . However, the roads here in the Dales are absolutely filthy, unlike your trip, the roads here are swilling wet with salt, mud and water. So Florence, the new 350 Bullet has yet to turn a wheel after being delivered on Jan 2nd. Keep up the good work, and ride safe. Cheers Geoff.
Watching your videos is is therapeutic during winter, list for this year north and south wales and south west, might try and see if I can book a few days at bikers camp site in the pods saves carrying all the gear
The monthly classic bike meet at Duke William nr Matlock would suit you and Betsy. First Wednesday lunch time of the month. They have camping on the field behind the pub
Wish I could just sit on Bella but I have vertigo, even lying down on my bed is awful , it seems like years since I rode . Still watching your rides cheers me up😊
Been there got the tee shirt it does get better mine hasn’t completely disappeared but developed coping mechanisms back on my bikes find the concentration on riding makes it fine fun and safe
Hi have you thought of joining the camping and caravan club. Pensioners get a twenty five percent discount on sites all months other than high season, it's worth looking into. Brilliant sites always immaculate . The site at Bala in Snowdonia is brilliant for motorcycle camping. Let me know if it would be ok to share a run out and I'll make one in, I've just today bought a three fifty meteor so we could have a run out sometime. As usual a brilliant video nice to see you braving the weather.
I ride those roads regularly. Haven’t called at the coffee shop in Wheldrake yet, but may have to do so. I’m guessing you know that a couple of hundred yards further up the A19 from the lights you turned right at, is Strawberry Fields cafe. Always worth a visit. Haven’t been out for a few weeks now & really missing it.
Another fabulous video. Oh, to be in England now that spring is here (almost).

Lovely ride today Dave, mystery tour ads to the enjoyment . Bring o the spring and some natural warmth.
The British landscape is always changing all year round - we are so lucky to have so much countryside!
