I was an elementary school teacher for 25 years. Since I did not have a girlfriend or wife, nor any children of my own, I threw everything I had into being a teacher. This often led to health problems, which eased up when I retired.
Now I'm devoting myself to my writing and learning to play the 6-hole pendant ocarina. I'm still kind of teaching. I learned to write sheet music with pendant ocarina tabs beneath each note, and I'm sharing them on ocarina pages on Facebook. People have expressed their appreciation for my efforts. And it's not killing my health to do it, nor is my writing harming me in any way.
So I've achieved that balance that I should have had years ago.
It looks like the Buddhists have something with their number beliefs.

I was born in the year who's last digit is 8 in the Buddhist Calendar! and according to Buddhist teaching, ambition,and creating wealth are paths that should be walked with great care this may at a later day be a hindrance to enlightenment. 8 has insight and with a warning from from Buddhist teaching one should beware of false priests!. I believe I have just listened to that which I would wish to hear if i wanted to belong in a material world, a reality born of illusion. which i do not ! the four fold path is not an easy one, Peace
