Its crazy that there are that many people that want to tell lies about that one breed. Its crazy that that the homeowners insurance statistics got it all wrong when they came to the conclusion that over 60% of dog attacks come from that one family of dogs. But whats really crazy is that whenever you hear about people fighting dogs its always pitbulls. Being pitbulls have no genetic disposition to attacking it seems like they would use another breed.
My pit bull would rollover on her tummy as a sign of submission, until another loose pit bull mix attacked her, and she didn't know what to do until I started hitting the other dog so it can stop attacking mine, and she reacted more to protect me than fight back, and she overpowered, and contained the other dog. She's a beast but it only came out to defend me.
@michaelmaya7742 my friend had an American bull terrier. The dog was 8, his son was 12, they grew up together, they were inseparable. The kid was playing a video game with his friend large screen tv, surround sound. The dog got up from across the room and mauled him. No reason, maybe the sound and flashing light from the TV who knows? The heredity DNA ancestry instincts from a dozen generations ago come out. But it sure seems stupid to own a dog from the family of dogs that have that ancestry and produce more than 60% of attacks from that one breed. Good luck I hope your dogs ancestry never comes out.
