Thank you for another trip down memory lane. I can remember the summer carnivals. I bet a lot of the participants wouldn’t be allowed now on H&S or PC grounds. Life was much simpler then.

My pleasure - I'm really pleased you enjoyed my old home movies - I have uploaded various bits and pieces to RUclips hoping that people would enjoy them - so much better than just letting them gather dust on the shelf!

I spotted myself at 2.04 In the Boys Brigade Band behind the drummers on left hand side, playing the Bugle. I was 13. Yrs old. I just searched for past videos of Exmouth out of curiosity and I instantly recognised faces in the BB band. I think the Bass drummer was called Pip? I used to work at the Deer Leap pub as a school boy and I left Exmouth in 1980. Fond memories and thank you for sharing footage - incredible!

I'm really thrilled to know you enjoyed the film and that you have been able to recognise yourself and others - that's exactly what I hoped for when I added this footage to RUclips. I hope you have seen the links to my other Exmouth film clips in the description of this one.

It's a pity this is so focused on a boring carnival.
