Oh gosh, your definition of Prism as your relationship with your work and inspiration was so beautiful. Such a wonderful way to make sense of this chaotic process. Argh, I adore your voice-overs so much. There's always a nugget of gold to accompany the beautiful artwork!
@@CosmicSpectrumArt no problem! I just get upset when it's a premiere because I don't usually see it is until I click on the video, because you know, I see pretty art I click. 👀 Love your videos!! ❤💖💗
I have to tell you how gorgeous I find your art! I’ve never felt an emotional response from just lineart before but watching you draw and paint just makes me want to cry I love it so much. It all looks so amazing and I hope someday I can make my art look as soft and amazing as yours❤️❤️❤️
Okay, so first of all, you art style? Absolutely and completely gorgeous! So fluffy and romantic, such beautiful, flowy lines. You've mentioned that you admire Loish (who doesn't?), and I hope you don't take this the wrong way, but I feel like your art has a lot in common with hers. But, like, not at all in the sense that it's a copy, more like how Lautrec and Mucha are both Art Nouveau, while still having their own completely distinct, instantly recognizable styles. Does that make sense? Thank you so much for sharing your thought and drawing process, as well as your tools, I really feel like I'm learning a lot as I'm going through your videos. Also, always a pleasure to hear someone talk so enthusiastically about their projects. You got yourself one very grateful follower, girl :D. Best of luck in your career!
Yay it’s here! So glad i was able to kickstart one of your artbooks, Prism. You can see so much storytelling just from this one illustration, the way you capture emotion, flow, characters and color is so unique i don’t think there’s any artist that can compare to you. ✨
Definitely feel like an antenna at times. Feels like it's drawing itself. Tap into the ether. The more I draw the easier it is to get there. I was drawing Monday and it just vanished. I could feel the disconnect so I stopped for the day. If I draw past 9pm forget about it. It's so hard to go to sleep.
Yooo! I finally can watch it. Couldn't when it premiered because I was working on my own video that I had to post today. Super excited to watch this!! ❤💖💗
I'm really happy for you! I've been following you since DA and still remember your ID fracture from the very beginning. I was wondering if you could make a video about your planning/structing your story? I'm trying to make my story/comic atm which is from an idea I had ages ago, but the more I try to plan it out, the more overwhelmed I get :
I think she has a video about it on a comic she drew for someone else's story! You should check it out!! It can get quite overwhelming! I am also creating my first comic, and the more I work on it the more work it seems I need to do. My advice is to write down everything you need to do (maybe on post-its or seperate pieces of paper on a bulletin.) And put it in order. Move things around, set dates, cross off what you've done, do the best you can to organise. It might feel less stressful if you can see everything and be able to add things if you find things you need to research/refine. Hope this helps! PS. As I said, this is my first comic. I'm not a professional. Maybe look up some more videos on youthbe to get the best idea on how to create your comic.
Maybe, for Patreon, you could make it so patrons can get early acess to the pages or some kind of sneak peek. I also thought of patrons being on the comic like, you draw them or their OC, that fits the aesthetic of the comic (obviously) and they would appear as background characters.
I'd back the kickstarter if I could, but I could never convince my parents to pay for it! Do you think there will be a second chance to get the book later on?

Agreed! I love watching her process. I also love her little rant about what being an artist means to her, it's very intriguing!
