I just want to point something out... Creeps hardly ever swears in his videos! He manages to find pastas without expletives. I don't really notice it.

It scared the piss outta everybody at first, but then somebody busted out the smoke and a half gallon of tequila, and things got less weird. We had to take him home the next morning. Good times!

The intro kind of reminds me of a story my dad talked about of a geology field trip to the Gammon Ranges in South Australia. There were 12 people on the trip but he said for a few nights they all felt like there was someone else with them at the campsite. They called it 'the thirteenth man'. Fairly sure they did a lot of drugs and drank a lot but thinking on it it would make a good creepypasta.

lately, I've been noticing a pattern with these stories; they start off really good and end up really ..weird.. like a punchline in a joke that you can't quite connect to the joke itself.

This sounds like the Kentucky goatman that story originated in Popelick Kentucky. The goat man can mimic sounds and disorient you. Originally he chases people off of the high train trestle to their death by falling off. Very good story indeed. Thanks

glad to see more creepypasta about it though since its something you can hear a lot about if you try, but not that many real horror stories and most of them take some pretty big liberties with the idea

I heard a similar story a few years ago where it was a group of friends hiking and every so often the main character notices they have one too many people in their group but he has memories of every one of them. I'm always looking for it, but I can never find it.

That is probably the best story I've heard in a while. Most stories involving such monsters sound just as cheesy as the movies that deal with them look. But this got around that by setting up a truly horrifying story with the creature as just a peripheral element.

This one was surprisingly good. All the best ones have multiple characters and sympathetic relationships which are hard to write and manage but make it so much more interesting. I especially like the way a large cast sometimes allows you to place yourself in the situation as a participant, it sounds weird and not many likely do it but makes it a lot more tense.
