Moog Music MF107 Moogerfooger FreqBox Is NSFW, R, S Or S*

Plugging into the Moog Music MF107 Moogerfooger FreqBox is not for the faint of heart, or of signal. This hulking stompbox houses a VCO that feeds off your guitar's input signal, and even though it sports a nifty hard sync switch, it's hard to keep the MF107 from completely freqing out. All part of the fun, isn't it?
The Freqbox will accept any input source, though in this video, Owen chooses to enter battle with an instrument he feels he can trust -- an ESP XTone PC-1V he's dubbed "Hrunting." Does it aid him in his trial? You'll have to watch and find out.

I love moog effects, this video does not do much justice to the sounds. The freq box does work alot better with synth in my opinion, but you can get some cool sounds on guitar. One thing that is a drag is the lack of true bybass with all moogerfoogers....noisey, nature of the beast i guess.

This is , without a doubt, the WORST video I have ever seen for a product. If I were Moog, I would sue the hell at of Gear Wire !

its nothing like the ring modulator. this demo is terrible, the pedal is more useful if you know how to use it. The Ring Modulator is actually very very useful for straight ahead playing. Makes great footcontrollable tremolo, that can be bent in to great smears. If you learn to use the moogerfoogers they aren't just noise boxes.

Seems kinda similar to a ring mod.
Something I'd love to screw with, but I'd easily pass up owning this unless I had more money or had a better use for it (i.e. not another fucking noise band).

That has to be one of the worst sounding synths I have heard. It sounds like something is wrong with the sending of the signal to the pedal.

Another fail by Gearwire. You would expect that in a world full of decent demos by Proguitarshop, ToneFactor and Gearmandude they would have learnt their lesson. Apparently not.

the freqbox sounds best with Bass instruments: Bass guitar, Synth Bass etc. For guitar it is ok but definitely sounds best with bass. Terrible demo

in my point of view, this pedadl are ok for experimental music....the erro it`s to take this pedadl and play Hendrix songs, or other pentatonic things....the pedal is good.....the user`s music mind it`s not ok....Other gear, means other music...... A experimental music can take a lot of better sounds,...this boy just make crap

What a horrible demo. This is what I hate. No one on demo videos can ever play! And worse yet! NO ONE WHO DEMOS THIS PEDAL EVER DOES MUSICAL STUFF!!! ARRRRGGGG!!! Its always drums or something, I want to hear a good synth sound like Pat Metheny or something come out of this. Yuck
