    This is the third shawl from your pattern I'm going to crochet (x2 for my 2 daughters). I already made 2 of your different butterfly shawls for me and my girls (they're 10 and 7) and now they can't wait to get new ones 😊 Thank you for your tutorials! I can crochet plushies and sweaters without a pattern but shawls are difficult for me. Greetings from Poland 😊

    Made one and now I'm addicted to this pattern it's so fun! I made the first one with number 4 yarn it's cozy, now onto a number 3 yarn for a summer shawl!

    Thank you, so graciously for the wonderful pattern & tutorial! 💕 This V-Stitch Butterfly Shawl was a blast to crochet, and your pattern worked out beautifully! I’m working on my 3rd one now they’re so addicting. 😃
    I used Yarn Art Flowers cake and a smaller 3.5mm hook - I’m around 5’7” and the shawl is still large & luxurious for me! Worked great! 👍
    Much appreciation for all you do!

      You are so welcome! So glad you like this one so much. I also had a lot of fun doing the V stitch one. I also loved the Emerald Isle Butterfly shawl too, maybe if you get sick of the V stitch you'd like to give that one a try. It's also a big shawl. If you get any pictures of your shawl could you please please share them with the group on Facebook? It's called Crochet 4 the Masses. facebook.com/groups/215779478573549

      Me too! I felt the world of crochet was lacking more XL shawls that can hug you and can be worn in different styles :)

    How lovely! I much prefer half circle styled shawls to triangle ones, definitely added to my bookmarks

      I do too, and I don't know if they have a name, so I'm naming this style of shawl "Butterfly" shawl's :)

    I made a playlist for just the Butterfly shawls. Hope this makes it easier to find them all ruclips.net/p/PLlfN1EjIXcK_b5-nyho8Z9VqmR2Pqr_nK

    In order to make this pattern work for me, I had to alter it some. Instead of 17 stitches, I had to have 18 and instead of chaining up 2, i chained up 3. Also ar edge i didvhf the post dc in stich after chaing up of 3. It was only way it would work and look good for me.

      The design is as is, I can't tell you how to change it further, you'll just have to experiment 🙂

    I'm confused because a chain 3 is a DC not a chain 2? Why?

    • @Meladora1
      @Meladora1  5 лет назад

      The 1st ch is the working ch, the next 2 chains count as a DC. DC 8 into the working ch. Hope this helps!
