    I tried an ear camera before, and it was really uncomfortable. Not convinced this one will be any different

      That's because you're generally not suppose to put things in your ears. But this one isn't the same as traditional cameras for the ear. For My sister.... This would be far more comfortable than letting a roach stay in her ear any longer. Yes we use to live in a bug infested home and she was the unfortunate victim of a bug in the ear. Most UNCOMFORTABLE and scary thing on earth and she landed in the ER nearby because she couldn't wait for urgent care

    I can say that the camera quality often isnt as high as advertised. I worry that the Bebird Home 3.0S will have the same issue, with blurry or low-resolution images that dont really help in cleaning your ears effectively

      I can't speak to the 30S, but I have one of the previous Bebird versions and the camera quality is great.

      The bebird products are usually good enough to see what's going on. Even if not at the highest quality.

      @@ZenMonkeyDigitalwhich one do you have? I want to get this one or a previous version. And what about the comfort level of using this in your ear. Some commenter said they used one that was painful. Not sure how that's possible. Also not sure if they were talking about a different brand of ear camera. They probably were

    Im skeptical about sticking a camera in my ear. It seems like it could easily cause damage if not used correctly

    • @ZenMonkeyDigital
      @ZenMonkeyDigital 3 дня назад +1

      I use a previous version of the Bebird otoscope and I can say that with the camera showing where the tip is going, I can see how far in I have gone (and how close I am to the eardrum). While stupid people will do stupid things, this definitely isn't one of those "hold my beer and watch this" sort of tools.

      No need to buy it if you can't use it correctly. Or if you aren't comfortable doing it yourself :) ❤

    I bought a similar product before, and it didnt live up to the hype.

    • @IDrawToothpicks
      @IDrawToothpicks 3 дня назад

      It's not about hype either. It's about is this the right kind of product for you. This isn't a toy. It's for those that have kids, getting older, gets things stuck in their ears ( bugs are the worst culprit, etc) Not for everyone! Everything always seems hyped when it's new. I just make my own decision. I don't listen to the hype on the Internet

    • @IDrawToothpicks

      Also similar products can't always even compare to newer versions. This actually seems promising

    The price point for the Bebird Home 3.0S seems quite high for what it offers

      ENT doctors have charged me between $400-$700 each time I have gone in for a cleaning where they suction the gunk out of my ear. That doesn't even consider my costs in time, driving and parking expenses. I use a previous version of the Bebird otoscope, and so far have eliminated the need to go to the ENT simply by pulling that gunk out on my own. Now, I only need to go to the ENT if there's an issue in my ear beyond needing to clean it out (and with Bebird's photo/video capabilities, I can send the images/videos on to my doctor or telemedicine provider, saving me additional time and money. So, $90 is actually pretty inexpensive when you consider the costs associated with going to an ENT doctor.

      @@ZenMonkeyDigital I have Medicaid but not everyone does so that's absolutely correct. People always like to talk about price. That's why I say buy it nice or buy it twice

    • @IDrawToothpicks
      @IDrawToothpicks 3 дня назад +1

      @@ZenMonkeyDigital also my sister would've absolutely saved her own life using this when she had a roach stuck in her ear!! Yes it was horrifying. So people need to stop judging! I can't wait to have products get even more futuristic and better. Things are going to be expensive. No one's forcing anyone to buy these things. Just depends on your personal needs

  • @panchakt8bz

    It seems like over-engineering for a simple task. Do we really need a camera to clean our ears?

    • @ZenMonkeyDigital
      @ZenMonkeyDigital 3 дня назад

      Yes. If you go to a doctor, they will use an otoscope to see inside your ear canal. Obviously, you can't see in your own ear without a camera equipped otoscope. I save myself several hundred dollars every year by using a Bebird otoscope and only go to the doctor now if there's an issue I can't deal with.

    I dont see the point of having a camera for ear cleaning. Traditional methods work just fine for me.

    Looks gimmicky to me. Just another tech gadget that will end up collecting dust.

    • @IDrawToothpicks
      @IDrawToothpicks 3 дня назад

      That's why you don't buy it!! Let others do it if they need to. It would've helped me and my family having one. My sister had a roach in her ear ending up at the ER. Most painful thing and would've been worth 90$. (It's not just for 1 person or I'm sure it would be a little less)
