Glad you had Austin on the show. Really enjoy both of your podcasts and collections. The 2000 Leaf Certified set is phenomenal. I could only find 1 sale of the manning, and it was for $34 back in 2014! I have a Marvin Harrison, and would love to pick up more over time.

I am currently putting together the entire 2006 finest football set all parallels. I started around 2010ish and have been slowly getting the lower numbered stuff. Like you guys said they just don't show up and if they do, they are really expensive. I got the Tom Brady and Peyton Manning gold xfractors when I first started and I'm glad I did. I have the complete rainbow for those two along with numerous others (minus the 1/1s). There are 150 cards in the base set with 11 total parallels including the base card and like 36 rookie autos some short printed. There's like 2000 total cards and I need like 116 more (mostly the gold xfractors). I saw those gold xfractors Austin has and I need them lol. I rarely see content on 2000s football cards I enjoyed this episode.

@@shaggy894 what an incredible pursuit. That’s outstanding. Really appreciate the feedback. I know you have zero interest in getting rid of your Manning Gold Xfractor….but if you ever do I’m always here.

Can you look at the 2000s to 2010s as the 2nd or 3rd year of a HOF players cards? Meaning, you can't afford the players RC anymore, so you go after thier 2ndvor 3rd year cards. If you look at the 90s as the rookie year that's hit, maybe the 2000s are thev2nd or 3rd year of a hot player. Eventually, those will be scare, hit and expensive too, just like Jordan's 2nd, 3rd and 4th year cards.
