    Bowline and truckers hitch, knots are free and easy to learn.

      @A. Melbs The relevance is that you can learn to tie two simple knots that are more effective that don't cost $15+.

      Theres nothing wrong with technology. the cord cost money didnt it ? pretty sure it's even more expensive than this. If youre going to shit on tech, you can put the paracord and rope down and only use tree vines..tie a bowline in that.
      literally nothing stops you from using this ...and also learning knots lol calm down.

      If your in a situation where it doesn’t just create a loop with a tiny piece of paracord and put that loop where this wouldn’t fit and then now you can hook the caribeaner to that loop you made

    Does normal 550 paracord work? If not, what cord should I get? Thanks in advance

    • @hammerandhome
      @hammerandhome  3 года назад +1

      Yes. 550 is 4mm. The cam jam will take 3mm to 5mm.

      They work perfect for me. I use them on my tied downs for my tent which I live in. They don't corrode or rust so they last a long time. And if they break or something they're cheap. I got mine at Lowe's, two for about seven bucks. The metal ones are nearly nine dollars for just one.
