Theres nothing wrong with technology. the cord cost money didnt it ? pretty sure it's even more expensive than this. If youre going to shit on tech, you can put the paracord and rope down and only use tree vines..tie a bowline in that. literally nothing stops you from using this ...and also learning knots lol calm down.
If your in a situation where it doesn’t just create a loop with a tiny piece of paracord and put that loop where this wouldn’t fit and then now you can hook the caribeaner to that loop you made
They work perfect for me. I use them on my tied downs for my tent which I live in. They don't corrode or rust so they last a long time. And if they break or something they're cheap. I got mine at Lowe's, two for about seven bucks. The metal ones are nearly nine dollars for just one.
I really am poor memory , when it comes to Quick release knots

Bowline and truckers hitch, knots are free and easy to learn.
@A. Melbs The relevance is that you can learn to tie two simple knots that are more effective that don't cost $15+.

Does normal 550 paracord work? If not, what cord should I get? Thanks in advance
Yes. 550 is 4mm. The cam jam will take 3mm to 5mm.
