Pull a Call of Duty and put a discarded Arisaka rifle on it
A great one to go next to it would be Rommel back at home for his wife’s birthday wondering why they’re losing the war.
That’s a lovely piece of work Hank👌 Love the way that small square of beach has so much variation in both colour & textures. It’s hard to show some interesting terrain alone, without the need for a vehicle, figures or building, but just the raw groundwork, Nice video well done..👏😊
If I recall correctly the teller mines were a waste of resources as they didn’t like being immersed in salt water twice a day, so most if not all ended up being duds. The allies knew this as they had grabbed a couple during pre d-day scouting missions, so they didn’t even have a deterrent effect. The Chechz hedgehogs did find a later use, the allies cut them up to make the hedgerow cutters, nice of the Germans to provide the raw materials.
That Hank looks awesome, such a simple diorama base. Dragon make a set of US Army figures landing on beach, master box might as well. Either or would look great, or a german solder with a dog. Walking on the lonely beach, on patrol.
Hey wait, i think I will do that. 😅
Great video thank you
the Tamiya German briefing figure set (four soldiers and a dog) would work well here-

Absolutely
@@bobrivett7645 Lovely molds on those figures, just need to repaint them a bit as they are in winter gear- but the poses are right :)
Good diorama, reminded me ww2 movies and fallout.
You ever been thinking about Fallout scale models?
Truly amazing! Could you please make a full tutorial video on painting the Rado RDM35041 "Feuer Frei" figures now? I recently bought them and they will be the first figures I will ever paint, so such a tutorial would be very helpful. Thank you in advance!
Looks great. Love the multiple surf lines that help guide the eye up the beach.
Thank you!!
Great tutorial. Be interesting to see what models / figures you place on your diorama!
Thanks!!
Well done, sir! 👍
Nice work!
Im so glad I found the correct channel to accompagny me in my new hobby soon :D
Digesting all possible information in and then I can get started in Q3 ! Thank you for your guidance and personality ! I will do my buys thru your links , its the least I can do ;-)
Oh wonderful! I'm glad you found the channel - welcome aboard & happy building!
Great job Hank, very realistic. Well worth doing this way, I love it. Also any update on when part 5 of H.E.A.T.S in coming out I'm hanging out there for it.
Awesome work Hank! I just built up a couple little display bases for my tanks using a couple simple wooden plaque boards from Menards, some Modge Podge, and brown sugar! I let everything dry and hit it with a couple coats of green and brown, and sprinkled in a little cat litter for pebbles...oh what you can do with not a lot of money!
Sometimes the base is a model in and of itself! :)
Looks great, Hank. I've seen several D-Day dioramas that forgot the Teller mines mounted on the obstacles.
Hmm....a certain teacher molded by Nuts Planet would look great in this diorama. 😉
Good stuff Hank. A nice simple but highly effective diorama base.
Thank you!
Nice project Hank! Thanks!
Hey Hank great video - get some models on it.
Another great job Hank always enjoys the watch.Your videos can't wait for the next one.Keep up the good work
Thanks so much!
