Yesssssssss!!! Haha welcome back!! Ahhhh the sheen of Thailand’s humid sticky heat on your foreheads… love it! Yeah… the burn season is pretty rough… but the food eases the pain…😁. You’re right Peter… nothing better than wandering down a random soi and grabbing some noodle soup… by the way, new mic? Your voice sounds more bass-y… or maybe the bad air affected your throat/chest… glad to see you guys back and looking forward to the vids!! Stay safe and happy traveling… bummed I miss you guys…
Hahahaha really? We are still using the same mic but since my nose surgery a few ppl have mentioned my voice sounds a lil different. Are you still in the US at the moment? Really enjoyed this trip to Thailand sad to be going in a few days 🥲
@@PeterandYen leaving tomorrow for Korea.. and then…? Thailand 🇹🇭 is definitely one of my favorite countries so far… where are you guys headed next again?
Thanks dude have a good time back in Korea 🇰🇷 ooo btw did you watch this show called physical 100? If you haven't maybe check it out on Netflix totally your kind of show I think hahaha
I just came back from Turkeye. I instantly booked my flight to Chiangmai (for mid Feb next yesr) when Air Asia had a promotion this Month and found out later about the burning season. Oh my god! I followed your guide on Turkey and now I really count on you both on how to travel and survive in Chiangmai during the 2024 burning season...😅
😅 we were really fortunate to get some rain which cleared up a lot of the pollution but wearing N95 masks helped a lot when walking around outside. Unfortunately we canceled some of the more trekking kinds of outdoor activities because of the pollution. We'll need to go again when it's not burning season.
Great to have you back guys 😊 Those temples are amazing! The level of detail is mind blowing and they're so colourful. You always manage to find great places to eat too 😋
Yo Rob! Hope you've been well. Yes gotta say the food in chiang mai was particularly good. Really enjoyed our time there and will miss our local neighborhood a lot 🥲
@@PeterandYen I'm doing well thanks guys! So pleased you enjoyed your stay, although it's a shame burning season disrupted it a little 😕 I'm sure you'll miss it, but you'll have exciting new places to explore soon too! ✈️
Hi both, a chill vlog as usual. The dry noodles with condiment looks like my type of noodle and hope Peter had seconds😅. Yen placing the gold leaf and the base, reflects a considerate and modest soul 🙏🏻. Great to listen and watch your vlog as usual, stay well and have fun as always
Hello L H hope you've been well. Hahahaha and yes I did have seconds. I'll tell Yen the message 😁 had such a blast in Thailand but we are off on a new adventure in a few days.
Oh my gosh wow they're back uploading yay! Haha! Already know this will be an amazing video! Yeah that Auckland rain a 1 in 200 year event it was later re-classified! So glad you have managed to travel, I've been doing a few trips around New Zealand so that's good! Wow 20 days over there, that's a good stay for sure! Oh Peter doing is workout on his muscles and yeah that pool will look nice once it's filled up again! Yeah I'm not sure I could just point to food and know what it was, I'd need a detailed description! The garden and buildings there looks great and it's interesting to see! I bet you were glad for that evening market, yeah street is so good and good value too! Yeah another super cool job!
So nice to see you back at it! Nice apartment and those are two of our favorite temples in Chiang Mai. “Don’t listen to Peter” and Yen’s favorite praying mantis 🤣🤣
Awesome to have you guys back on your adventures, which is your natural element 😀. Chiang Mai looks stunning, although that air pollution is horrific. Looking forward to our weekly updates 😀
Hello hello Daryl 👋 😁 it does feel good to be on the road and exploring again. The air pollution was pretty bad but lucky it rained and gave us a few good days of weather too.
@Peter and Yen nice 👌. My lungs can't take air pollution anymore, not after 8 years of living in South Korea, with the seasonal yellow dust on top. Have fun guys 😃
Hey guys, its been a while. I didnt know you guys are back on vlogging.... and on Thailand! 🇹🇭 So cool to see you guys again. Missed yah! Thanks Peter & Yen 😎🎉✨
Finally i found the best guide for my Chiang mai trip ,i only have 5 days and want to make the best of it thanks for sharing this very informative video
Thank you 😊 👍 elephant nature park was our favorite activity in chiang mai here's a link to the video ruclips.net/video/jS-QL0lk79I/видео.html Hope you have a great trip.
The smoke in Chang Mai reminded me of our bushfire happened in 2021 and lasted for months. It was so bad that our sky was red. I love street food and market in Asian countries. It's cheap and irresistible 😋. We haven't been to Chang Mai but did stayed in Bangkok couple days.
😊 Thailand is great we've been quite a few times now and always enjoy coming back. The food especially is so good and affordable 🤤 but yes definitely avoid that burning season
Love the rainy Kmart shot 😂 Sometimes I miss living 5min from that shopping centre. Sylvia is just way too busy. Cant believe this is from 3 months ago and it's still raining so much in Auckland. I was overseas May/June and thought surely there'll be some rain relief when I get back but I think it's rained every single day. We could really do with some full days of sun for a change. Keep up these videos. I love that they're short and to the point but also really informative.
😅 yeah we had a super wet summer early this year with the crazy flooding in the north island. Lucky you escaped some of it during June , hopefully you get some sun soon 😅
Good to see a new Vlog of you! I enjoyed watching as a preparation for my own Trip to Thailand in October. I got some interesting first impressions ... But why did you sometimes wear a mask even outdoors? I've been told that it's not necessary in Thailand anymore.
The mask was to stop breathing in the ash particles from the burning season 😅 unfortunately it was very smoggy in chiang mai because of this so when we went out we would often wear masks.
Kia ora, great vid! 've been to Chiang Mai twice and flying over this Friday with my kids for their 1st time. Last trip in Feb 2017 was fine. But hearing this makes me a bit concerned about my young one with her asthma. Regardless still looking forward to it 🤙
Kia Ora, thanks glad you enjoyed the video. Might be a good idea to pack some of the higher quality masks just in case for the lil one. But hopefully you get clear skies 🤞 chiang mai is an awesome town enjoy your travels 👍
Welcome back hope Peter health best for him at the moment, if I'm not wrong you should move your right neck side slowly don't worry even feel hurt. I can see you not use that side
I am a resident of CM and I seriously warn people not to come here. The air pollution is critically high day after day, right now the AQI is 248, the worst in the world and wat ahead of places like Delhi, Lahore etc. If you want to choke on this filthy air you are very welcome but be prepared to wear a mask, take antihistamines and other medication and accept that from the city you will not even see the mountains only 5 Kms away.
@@PeterandYen I'm good thanks... So glad you guys are back. We all look forward to seeing your smiling faces. I know it gives me a little boost every time I see that notification. 😊✌🏾
