Good stuff. I have the Avata and love the tiny profile. Need to get me a mini too eventually.

Turtle mode in the Avata is so cool!

A mode of flight I rarely if ever see from stabilised drone videos is FPV mode. I personally use it a lot because it gives the video the perception that you are flying a plane or helicopter with a cockpit view. Almost everything you showed in this video can be achieved with just one drone other than hitting the tree which hopefully the sensors would have save you.

If u have sensor on, you would never get the same type of shots with the mini 3 pro.

Love your videos. PLEASE do a video explaining the “Remote ID” that DJI included in their last software update for the Mini 3 Pro for everyone living in the United States. I know lots of people afraid to update to the latest firmware because of this. Other RUclips channels seem to be afraid to talk about the issue. Thanks.

I have a avata I love the flying experience with the fpv. I am also going for a air2s so I can use the insta360 sphere. Have you done many reviews with that set-up? As I am interested in your thoughts.

You're right, I need both drones in my backpack. I only doubt that I will be comfortable flying FPV without an assistant when I am wearing goggles. A good educational program, but you should practice flying on the FPV a little more

Do you think the mini 3 pro would do following a bike down a trail next to like trees and stuff ?

The avata is loud. This is a big deal. Can you get good shots with mini 3 in fpv mode? Also, I get it that it will bounce off tree trunks but what if I am flying through the trees. Wouldn't this thing tend to get caught up in a branch be on my ability to retrieve it?

On the fence with the Avata, 500 for just the drone is superb so that'll be the SKU I go for if I pull the trigger.

Recently I bought a Mini 2 with the idea to get the goggles. I was surprised that you don't have that option with the 2 or 3.

I was literally about to buy the Avata, had in the cart and everything.
I just don’t know if I’d be better off with getting a real cinewhoop or 5 inch as I’m really getting into fpv and getting used to manual mode, and want something in addition to the dji fpv, something that can carry the action 3 and take a bit more of a beating as I don’t have care refresh on the fpv so I get one decent crash and I’m done!

The Avata can take a hit. My other cinewoop collects dust now.

Hi , Im really confused need your recommendations . Im a beginner and really liked goggles experience. Someone told me that avata is not good for beginners and I should go with Dji mini pro 3 + the googles as now goggles are compatible with 3pro too and it will give similar experience.
So shall I go with Dji Mini Pro 3 + Goggles or Avata with goggles. Please recommend.

Hi, a significant difference in these two drones is that the Mini 3 Pro doesn't fall out of the sky like the Avata. vbg

Love the Avata, but I've been waiting for two months for the two-stick controller for the Avata (FPV Remote Controller 2) to be available. DJI, please make the thing before the Avata 2 comes out! (yes, I know. That was a bit snarky)

What are the laws around flying the Avata & FPV where you are?
I know in some countries you are required to have a spotter to fly FPV, as the laws /regulating are to do with someone having visual line of sight at all times (and if you’ve got the goggles on, you don’t have line of sight to the drone😜).
Potentially this might be a significant factor for someone considering which of these two drones they might consider - weight in some countries might also be a factor😉
    Thanks again.
    Thanks again.

I have a older Phantom 4. I am running DJI GO 4 app on my iPhone 14 ramming IOS 16 and it works perfectly. I used to fly my phantom 4 with my iPad Pro. I had to use a USB-A to USB-C cable to connect them and it worked perfectly. Them it quit working with my iPad, I guess it was iOS 15 when it quit working. I have since updated my iPad Pro to iOS 16 but the remote control still will not connect to the iPad. Is there a way to update the firmware on the remote so that it will begin connecting to my iPad Pro through the USB-C cable?
    Thanks for your help

Do they make prop guards for this DJI model? if not, are there aftermarket prop guards available elsewhere?

Which model? There are 2 models in the video. There are 3rd party prop guards for the mini 3 pro and Avata has it built on.

Every time I see someone flying an FPV drone Ialways wonder... according to the laws of droning, does someone wearing gogles need to have a second observer watching the drone? You see whatthe drone sees but you are not observing your surounding airspace. Just wondering.

    • @EdiTravelOfficial
      @EdiTravelOfficial Год назад +2

Depending on location. Some places you need a spotter specially around with territorial birds. Your spotter can warn you if there are birds trying to attack your drone since you cant see what around your drone.
