I've played 3 player, and 4 player before a few times. Both with the player going first not drawing a card and with the player going first drawing a card. Everytime the player went first and did not draw, they were severely behind everyone else and they never won. When player 1 did draw first, the game was much more even and they even won a game. It is very brutal to have 3 or more players ahead of you in card advantage and who can all disrupt you with that extra card. So we always have everyone draw even if u go first just like in most mutliplayer card game formats. We played with starter decks btw but I feel like that shouldn't matter

We played a few 3 player games, and in each one the 1st and 2nd player we didn't let draw, the 3rd player or "last" player is who drew first. Each time we played it has been really close including a 20-19-19 finish one night. Going first or last hasn't actually affected who has won or not, in fact the guy who didn't draw the last time, actually won.

I played and won my first draft on Saturday. It was great fun, and not just because I won. I am now a proud owner of a Lorcana logo pin.
I went for lots of card draw, mostly low cost and plenty of evasive as I noticed they kept coming and nobody else would be able to deal with them.

Thanks for sharing. I have yet to find starter packs so I’ve been buying packs here and there so I was wondering how to build my own deck if I can’t get a starter deck this is helped a lot. Thank you so much. I hope you all continue to do these videos.

This game is so damn fun. I'm already at the point where I'm building a small singleton cube for the first four sets.

I wonder what kind of homebrews will come about over the next few years. Kind of pumped for the community to come up with things like Pauper

When you play a card in Lorcana is that considered a cast trigger or an enter the battlefield in MTG terms?

In the draft model after you have your pool, what is the final deck size you make from that pool?

I watched your video of 4 people playing Lorcana. It was really great and helped me out a lot to get started. I had a question about the Lore counters you were using in the video. I thought they were awesome. Can you please share where you got them? Thanks!

What video? I think we were tracking them on an app. But that has changed a bit based on what video you were looking at.

Is there any benefit to keeping cards in a starter deck together and not mixing them with cards you get from the bonus packs?

Personally I like keeping my starter decks together so I have something to play with people who do not own a lot. But if you need to break them down thats okay too.

The only benefit would be maybe nostalgia, if you really liked the initial deck list. From a gameplay perspective though, it's highly recommended to upgrade your starter deck if you can, as they are usually designed to be somewhat less powerful than the average constructed deck.

For anyone else out there worried about being able to get their hands on The First Chapter, I wouldn't worry too much about it, because eventually Disney will have a large enough batch printed so it can't all be bought up the moment it hits the shelves. What many of the elitist groups out there don't realize, who are trying to buy it all up the moment it hits the shelves trying to make it as difficult as possible for anyone else to get a hold of it except through them, is they are dealing with Disney and nor is this Disney's first rodeo because if it sells then it sells and that's all the information that Disney needs to know. And Disney is having the TCG printed through their long time partner for many generations now, Ravensburger; who has been printing Disney's puzzles and similar products for longer than most people living today can remember, nearly for as long as both companies have each existed. And the contract that Disney has with Ravensburger, I guarantee is not the typical contract that other companies are known to have with printing presses, with a set number of limited print runs. Instead and more than likely it's more of a lose contract, where if Disney says to have another batch of The First Chapter printed, Ravensburger will do so without question or hesitation. For a lack of better terms, the more the elitist groups try to buy it all up, the more The First Chapter will become an unlimited print run and forever be printed into oblivion until the end of the world. And the same is true for any of the other sets that are released. Do you know why? This is Disney. That's all that needs to be said.

P.S. You also have to think about the fact that more than likely Disney is also thinking about the kids who are going to want to get their hands on as much Lorcana as they can as well. Think about it for a moment. What are kids going to want to see under their Christmas tree this year? Lorcana... Both The First Chapter and Rise of the Floodborn. Every product they can get their hands on of each.

Buying all the starter decks on eBay (hope isn't a scam) to play 4 player games with my wife, daughter and son.
Not interested in buying solo cards or busters. Only start decks and play like board games

I wonder what a commander-like format would be like for Lorcana? I feel like it would need to be limited to two ink colors, but since we dont have any dual-ink characters, im guessing it'll likely have to be two "commanders" per deck. Interesting, I'll have to do some sort of homebrew format.
