I stumbled upon her cover on IG, like, a big part of it and I needed to express how much I LOVED it. She was electrifying! Mesmerising, majestic and was giving this powerful vibe. Maaan this was so cool! I don't even remember how many times I have listened to it already and wanted to see the full version, so I came here

Will, although not a good singer himself absolutely nailed it as he frequently does with exceptional singers like Leah Mcfall and Claudillea. Btw. Leah also didn't win (the Voice) but has a great career as will Claudillea.

So many when they put forth efforts of that kind end up merely shouting and screaming. Not her. She sings beautifully even as the level goes up, up, up. She has this ability, and many others do also, but she's not afraid to use it in new and creative ways. I am reminded of Laura Bretan, who is authentic and powerful. But this has an element, I think, which Rollo May called "the damonic," (2 chapters in Love and Will). that translates into Latin as genii, an authentic root of genius. May would say that great leaders have this, that Jesus integrated the 2 sides of the daemonic, (angels and devils, each of which fails separately,) in the wilderness, to then incarnate his genius. Here, perhaps, there's more of a fun element, which is part of it as well, (May referred to having a trick up one's sleeve). And we can see that she has a lot of enjoyment and fun in doing it. Part of the fun is that it seems to clash with other aspects of her presentation, (small, slender, such smooth skinned female, youthfulness, attractiveness). Great song choice for this way that she, (especially her, the kind of woman that she is,) has broken conventions. Credit to the coach! It's a great match, unlike many others.
