@ Hell no. Phone companies sent a list of all of the calls that were made every month. Instead, I listened to this adult radio show late at night called Love Lines on my Walkman with those metal headphones from back then. If my parents had known about that show, I wouldn’t have had the Walkman. ☠️

I established myself as that crazy parent you don't try by the time my oldest son was 2. He drew his hand back like he was going to hit me and the next thing he knew, his little feet was dangling in the air. I had snatched him up by his shirt collar and had him eye to eye and told him that he better not ever draw his hand back at me again. I'm only 5ft tall, but neither him nor his younger brother have ever disrespected or challenged me. They told their friends that they momma don't play that. 😅 They are in their 30's now and much love exists between us all. ❤

I was born early 60s and just had my 61 birthday Tuesday. I'm just going to say this right here. My brother & sisters would have took it to me, not to mention my crazy parents. I personally remember when my cripple father beat my brother down and ran him out the house and down the street. My brother running out shouting I'm going tobm call child abuse hotline and my father doen behind saying if you can diak the number ,you can call. At that point i new at 14 yo and brother 16yo, he'd FAFO. My father worked on a farm since he was six. He was like the Hulk, the madder he got, the stronger he got. I thank God that i had sense enough not to FAFO.😂😂😂😂😂😂

💯 soft or absent parents raise soft kids with marshmallow grandbabies with no sense of reality. Which is where we at now.

As a Gen X educator of Gen Z and Gen Alpha children, what he speaks of are FACTS! These are some VERY different parents! You would not believe the kids behavior nor the excuses we get from parents about their kids behavior. As my mama used to say, I will go to jail for (unaliving) you! And I used to believe her. These children today do not have a healthy fear of their parents or any teacher nor do they fear consequences because there are none. Parents are just making it bad for themselves and setting these kids up for failure and disappointment in life when everything they want doesn't go their way.

I grew up back in the 70’s and my parents could leave cash sitting on their dresser, and we knew not to touch a nickel! If any of their money was missing we wouldn’t have any hands to steal again! 😅😂 I do the same thing, leave cash on my livingroom table and my “kids” (dtr 20 and son 28), know damn well they better not touch it! 😅 The other day my daughter took my clothes out the dryer and handed me $40 in cash that she found in the dryer that must have been in my pocket! So that tells you how she was trained not to steal! 🤷🏾‍♀️ This isn’t the first time that lady’s son stole money from her! He has been doing it since he was little and she never corrected him! My parents always told us if they ever seen anything in the house they know they didn’t pay for, they would make us bring it back! So we knew what time it was about stealing! 🙄🤷🏾‍♀️
