I would reccomend fluro for almost all streamer fishing as it sinks well(main reason) and it is low stretch and high abrasion resistance, it's more invisible generally stiffer than most mono, all of these factors make it a better choice for fishing sub surface/ or for streamers.
A question we get all the time! The Trout Express we like for anglers that wade more. It’s a great line for dropping flies in tight spots. The Streamer Max Short is going to be a little better for throwing larger flies. Both awesome options.

Curious, have you found a leader setup you like for small streams and this line? Fluorocarbon vs monofilament?

How does this compare to the streamermax short from airflo? The higher grain weight options seem pretty similar to the streamermax short tapers
