Can ATC try to contact me about my planes extended warranty? I've had premium for about 6 months now, love it. Just for immersion alone. Not even including the real utility it offers. I definitely recommend it.

Sounds like a promising development in AI Sure, English is the worldwide language in aviation but will there also be local accents and greetings upon approach. For example: Goede morgen Schiphol approach, KL596 inbound RW27 ILS( or something like that)

Great announcement, however the premium version is definitely worth the price. However, I read quite a lot of people complaining about Open Sky ATC stopping mid flight with no possibility to restart. These people do prefer the "other" product. What would you answer to this? Do you track the ATC failures? If so, what s the rate of failure? I m trying to understand as I m a member of PilotEdge since long time so if I switch, I m expecting the same level of ATC if not better (I talking about the premium Open Sky version).
@@StefBelgium OpenSky hasn't had any feedback like that, nor has our Premium version. In fact, since most of our stuff is on the cloud, you're able to close the SI client, re-open it and it'll pick right back up! You can even restart your flight mid-air and pick up IFR clearance, as well as a myriad of other ways to keep your flight going in case of any bumps or errors. That's the beauty of the unscripted approach to ATC. It'll never just fail and quit out on you. I believe you may have those reports mixed up, as that's something "The other product" is known for😉

One of the wonderful aspects of AI, it can do the checking on the fly for you. You start pranking off out of control or saying you've been hijacked and you won't be connected much longer. Its taken seriously.
We can't do that. Entourage is a one time cost, while operating AI is very expensive on a daily basis. That is the reason we have a subscription for the full product.

I cant see the joke. There is a check box in the app to set strict readback if you want it. It works but you need to be dead on with what you say. Your comment is either way out of date or you are passing on information from watching a streamer who got in a fluster about it. They heard him and immediately made the option available. The reason it's not strict bt default is because a lot of people get it wrong and it becomes frustrating. BAiTC often gets it wrong when you 100% say things correct. Remember most people are not actual pilots and if you have absolute strict enforcement of everything, which you can, it would be a very frustrating for a lot of people.
Not the "entire flight sim community." Once again us red-headed step children of the flight sim community, who choose to fly in an actual simulator and not a video game, get the shaft.
Hey @jeddis! Completely understand - If you're flying at that level of realism, you won't want OpenSky anyways. You're going to want Premium for that level of quality to support your real sim experience.

This leaves out a protion of the flight sim community who want a better than in game ATC experience, who either can't afford the premium sub, or may want to take a break from the premium sub to free up some funds. To me, this smells of an excusitivity deal with M$. Wouldn't be surprised if it gets incorporated in to MS Scenery RPG 2024 in a future update.

Please, please, PLEASE support us Linux folk. I know you are against developing for Linux due to a lower user-base, but that is exactly why there is a low-user base. If no one is developing for Linux, there is no user-base. Please see if you can close the gap. I would love to re-activate my SI subscription, but because of the lack of support for the Linux community, I can't.

No. OpenSky is MSFS2020/2024 only (for the moment) and all products are Windows only. Sorry.

Microsoft has not opened up career mode for third parties, so there is no integration.

Listen to all of the features that he lists are not included in the free version. Those features are why the premium exists.

Amazing atc highly recommend it, recommend subscribing the premium. Directly. Helps a lot especially if youre at a flight school.
