Love it! That C Log-3 with the LUT looks amazing especially the swing set shot!! You can really tell the difference

I agree. My next video will be comparing normal with Clog3 but this time I'll color correct and tweak each shot to see which one looks the best.

Thanks for the XA50 video's you made. Very very helpful!
I'm considering this one for myself.
Do you happen to know how the custom dial works in regard to exposure compensation?
I read in the manual that it can only be used in conjunction with a locked exposure.
I normally set my exposure compensation to about -0.7 on my camera's so I get less over exposure, but sometimes you want to change that (preferably with a dial instead of the menu).
So I wonder if you know if setting the EV value with the dial only works in conjunction with a locked exposure.
    Thanks in advance!

Are you shooting in auto exposure? I never really mess with exposure compensation. I set my shot and leave it.

      @@TroyShaw Thanks for the reply.
I have gotten my hands on a 2nd hand one and yes it can do what I wanted. Use the control dial for exposure compensation.
It depends on the situation, but when I'm (for example) shooting trains, I don't want to worry about it and leave it on auto with EV to -0.5 or so.
But sometimes that is too dark, so you quickly want to change that.
But I found out it does.

Do you have any experience using individual settings cp 5 - cp 6 on the camera? Do you have experience programming a camera to shoot 50 frames at 4 to 422 10 bit?

Hello Sir, Thanks for the review. The big microphone device that is stuck on the top of this camera, is it necessary to use it? How is the audio when not using it?

You don't have to use that mic. It has built in stereo mic for nat sound. If you want to record somebody talking I would either get a lav mic or get a boom mic, something similar to what I have on this camera, but it's not necessary.

    Hi
about this annoying thing of the screen, if you attach an external monitor via HDMI (Atmos or any other) does it still block your viewfinder?
