I had this one and it worked fine, but you best store in a garage, I kept mine under a tarp and the second season the wiring in the start button box burned up. So I just bought the Harbor Freight 5 ton model, has worked fine for me for over 10 years.

4x4 in between the ram and wood will speed up your cuts.

Place your piece of wood to split against the wedge, not against the ram! So it will not rotate or move around before it starts to split.

Nice. Are you plugged into a regular household outlet ? What length and gauge extension cord are you using ?

It is plugged into a household outlet. The cord is about 50 feet long and I believe it is 14 Guage wire. Thanks for watching and the comment.

It's very possible. So far I have split a good amount of wood and working well. Thanks for watching and the comment
