  • BOSS Industrial 7-ton Electric Log Splitter - I LOVE this machine! I paid just over $200 for it in 2018 from LogSplittersDirect.com and I highly recommend it. Just looked it up in March 2021 and it’s now $450. I would buy it again at that price. I used it like a workhorse for 2 years without any problems. It’s a joy to split wood with it on a stand. The stand costs $50.
I highly recommend putting it on the stand. Before I knew which log splitter I wanted, I split logs with a neighbor who has a 10-ton gas splitter that sits on the ground. It didn’t take long before my back and legs were burning from bending and kneeling to feed logs into the splitter. And the gas motor was LOUD!
The 7-ton electric BOSS is quieter and cleaner (no messing with storing and pouring gas, and no emissions). The 2-HP motor split every log I fed it without hesitation.
Logs 20.5” in length and 10” in diameter are recommended, but I split logs thicker than 10” without a problem if they were mostly dry.

Love your enthusiasm Colorado1derful! Just ordered the 7-ton log splitter and stand from logsplittersdirect. Hadn't planned on ordering the stand, but I'm an old timer, and you convinced me that's it worth the convenience (and saving on back pain). Thank you for your video!

Way to Go! Assembly seemed easy peezee and with good directions as to how to operate. I like the stand, and you already are saving your back by using a wagon and a wheel barrow! Smart lady! Bravo!

I like that idea to put that wagon next to your splitter. No matter how stubborn those logs split, it sure beats a person beating their brains out using a axe mall. Old people like me doesn't like to ruin our shoulders, back and risk a heart attack.

Thanks for the video. Boss makes some very well functioning electric log splitters. I just ordered (pre-ordered because they are always sold out) the Boss 16-ton electric log splitter because I heat a barn and will begin heating my home as well with wood. The Boss 7 ton, 10 ton and 16 ton electric splitters are very good and should give years of service.

Nice to see that the coal miners that produce most of the power in this country helped you to split your wood.

I bout my Boss-7 ton almost 3 years to the date. Paid around $300 at my local Home Center. It runs flawlessly. I split Oak, Birch and Maple. The best part is using it in the shed when the weather is nasty 👍 Make sure you operate it on level ground!

Working good for me-just split some 16" lon, 14" diameter pieces of white oak. Wedge is short so sometimes you have to flip the piece over, but maybe it has to be short at that power. Works fine though, and NO fiddling with a gas engine!

Pretty much the same as the WEN 6.5 Ton Electric that I have. Though I'll say that stand it's on looks way nicer than the WEN's which is chinsy.

I have an ADDUPX electric 7 ton log splitter. I made a platform and mounted the splitter horizontal on a saw horse. I put a rolling set of wheels on the back and a handle on the front of the saw horse. When I want to split wood, I grab the saw horse splitter by the handle, lift up on it and roll it to where ever I need to split wood. It works pretty dang good.

My stand is 8 concert blocks, 2 high, 4 for the rear wheels, and 4 for the front legs. This made it very very sturdy and at a nice confrontable height. All it cost was? 16 dollars in 8 concert blocks. I'am for ever needing T post and concert blocks! I also use them as a firewood stand. Start out with 3 blocks, lay 2 T post on it to stay firewood on. to extend it out lay down 2 more blocks and 2 more T post. There ya go. This is the way i store T post and blocks>>> by putting them to use> My firewood stands, has NEVER TIP OVER, at 4 1/2 foot high> This cuts down on plastic sheets and traps. Buying them all the time IS? Fiberglass Corrugated Panels. They last for ever and can use for other things. i just put a 8' panel over it and use SS Bailing wire to wrap it up, with 3 wrap around the stack and panels. .. Plus the bailing wire is REUSED ALL THE TIME That it. Never worry about the sides of the stacks, Just the top ! You want air around your firewood, and a top to keep water off. Close it up with plastic sheets, and traps. Only makes a soaking moisture on the firewood. THAT NO GOOD. If blowing rain get on the sides its NP. buy being out in the open with air, dries out fast. It don't soak into the firewood > like with not top

Been using this wood splitter for over five years now and i use it hard with no problems. You can put different length 2x4s behind the head for what ever length wood you are splitting so you don't have to wait for the ram to get to what your splitting. A real time saver ruclips.net/video/2RqZMzgDyXM/видео.html
