as “for everfree” can be heard as “forever free”

"𝙾𝚙𝚎𝚗 𝚞𝚙 𝚢𝚘𝚞𝚛 𝚎𝚢𝚎𝚜" is one of my favorites I was surprised when a lot of ppl thought it was like a decent song but I thought her voice was so powerful and deep with the music and the soft change in the origin story then transition back to the grungy singing was my favorite part of her vocals

Okay I recently rediscovered the song 'Stand for everfree' and it is a work of art. A powerful emotional ballad of territory and resentment from someone who sees what they're doing as for the greater good and justified, knowing they could do horrible things to those who threaten what they aim to protect and hold dear. It's so emotional, intense, and has those hints of psychopath underlying there surface.
But anyway, I got the nostalgia rush and I can still say it slaps. Even after a number of years.
The perfect villain song, with all the bombast and tension it brings with it.

You know what's amazing about the MLP movie, they honestly didn't have to put effort. They could have just done it like the Generation 3 movies, but instead brought us incredible visuals, fun new characters, GREAT voice acting, And amazing new songs, not to mention one of the greatest scenes was Bringing the sonic rainboom to the big screen which was *chefs kiss* And a great crying scene (I know it sounds mean but crying animation in my opinion is incredible and you really did feel bad for twilight) It goes to show how much the creator cares for the fans that grew up with this show.

I love that the Dazzlings voices sound so more mature than the voice acting of the other ponies. I think that's why it's so appealing.

I've had trouble getting into Equestria Girls (I just find I can't care about the trappings of high school), but I love all the Dazzling's songs - they're fare more catchy and fun than any of the others from the series I've heard.

Yeah to me it just didn't make sense and felt weird for the Mane 6 to be teenagers in high school when their characters in the pony world are legit independent adults with jobs and their own houses. I still watched the first few tho and I enjoyed parts of them, especially some of the songs :)

Flawless is probably my favourite MLP song out of the entire series, and I’ve been a fan since 2013 (later than most but still) - so that’s saying something. The actual episode itself has a terrible message (apparently whoever decided the idea was a good idea couldn’t tell the difference between fictional horses and real people) but the song is an absolute banger.

I think under our spell is kind of underrated but I love it. All of the the dazzlings songs are great.

This is going to sound really silly. But Magic Inside and Flawless actually mean so much to me. They remind me of some of my hardest moments. When I felt like I couldn’t do anything right. That I had to change myself to be accepted, that my mistakes and flaws made me unworthy of peoples love. Mlp was something that just made me laugh. A silly kids show with talking colorful horses. And when is started to talk about real issues it helped. I saw myself in RaRa who was scared to embrace her true self because of how others may react. I saw myself in the flaws of the main six, the things that made people think they knew who I really was. I was a pushover, eager to please, excitable. It took a long time to learn to stand up for myself and find people who truly love me and want me around. Hearing these songs again reminds me of just how far I’ve come.

It doesn't sound silly. It sounds beautiful. I felt something similar to you, even though I was back then one of the best students in school. Always wearing "miss perfect" mask. Mlp was and still is really important to me too. When I'm listening to these songs now or watch episodes, they sometimes hit me hard, I see in them my past and present struggles.

I love "A Kirin Tale" the music production and message is beautiful. The singer also had an amazing delivery. Very broadway/theater-esque. Super fun lyrics too.

It genuinely sounds like the singer of The Magic Inside had bottled up her emotions for too long and spat them all out in one beautiful song istg the voice just carries the whole song
The Magic Inside hit way harder than a kids song should. For me it was a song of rebellion, fighting against the authorities in my life that thought I should be someone I wasn’t. This song will follow me through my whole life

I know for ceartin that I'm the only one that thinks this, but the villain songs absolutely SLAP and have such a edgy banger to them. It's really amazing. Sometimes I'll just cringe at most of the the songs, not saying anyone should dislike them, but just the beat and pace that villain songs have and every little detail here and there is flawless.

Honestly I think Midnight in Me is criminally underrated. I don't think I've ever seen anyone mention it as a good song (maybe someone has and I just haven't found that yet) and that needs to change!
It’s my favorite song in the Legend of Everfree soundtrack! I think the excuse is that it’s too short, and, I can agree with that. But besides that, it’s a beautiful ballet and deserves much more love.

i used to be obsessed with the song flawless, and mlp in general. It's kinda sad how I've started to outgrow mlp over the years...i have so many memories of when i was younger and when i loved mlp. I still like mlp...just not the same as i used too.
I tend to fade in and out when it comes to fandoms and I think that's the same for others too.
Understandable, I have and always will love mlp but my interest in it has changed along with many others in the fandom
I feel you on that. Although with MLP specifically, I tend to fade in and out of it, and even when I'm not really into it, I always tend to come back after a bit lol. (It's still not quite the same level as when I was little though haha-)
But there is a different fandom I was in, that I was incredibly obsessed with at first, and when I started losing interest in it I felt really sad because I still did love it- but I just didn't get the same feeling from it as I had before.
I had the same happened. Ibgrew out of it. Stopped watching early season 8. I decided to come back and finish it from the beginning out of respect because the show is generally amazing. I ended up falling in love all over again
same, i last watched mlp srsly when it was season 4, and now that it has ended, i want to rewatch.. but tbh the songs alone is enough

I’m 16 and it’s my fav show ever, I literally got a set of g5 main 5 figures for Christmas and I’m not ashamed to admit it was my fav present 😂
(I don’t play with them anymore but I find them extremely pretty to display on a bookcase and brush!)

honestly any mlp song is rlly good, some songs I think they could've done better but some are absolutely phenomenal. I think Rainbow Rocks, Legend of Everfree and just the MLP series have amazing music. Flawless, Find the Music in you, A Kirin Tale and Rules of Rarity are my absolute favorite songs. Their all so upbeat and cheery, I've probably been a fan of mlp for like 10 years.

Honestly, I love every MLP song. BUT 'A True Friend' really captured all the girls' powers and personalities. And showed the bond of all the Mane Six. MLP was many peoples childhood. It was special place in everyone who watched this shows heart and childhood ♥️

No because Magic inside will always be one on my top childhood Cartoon songs because it talks about rarity expressing her emotions and how she isn’t just “glitz and glam”

omg yes welcome to the show, flawless, and the rainbow rocks title song are defo some of my favs
I like how in the dazzlings singing you can distinctly hear each of their voices and style of singing, The main on has a strong and over powering voice, her singing is hear the most even when she's being quitter. The blue haired one even singing in singing their overthrowing ballad she has an upbeat tone and more of a popstar voice reflecting her strongly different personality from the other two. The purple haired one has a competing tone, her voice is there similar to the orange one but it's as if she's slowly trying to compete with her. Idrk

Open Up Your Eyes, when I listen to it and actually see the light/dark theme play out, it's quite eloquent. Even when Tempest tells Twilight to open her eyes in the end, Tempest is still in the dark reminiscing about her friends, blinded in the dark, while Twilight, whose eyes are wide open, see's the light.
"A Kirin Tale" and "Stand For Everfree" are my absolute favorites.
Again, another amazing list of songs. All of these are such bangers and some of them I still love a lot, like Flawless and Rules of Rarity and of course the songs by the Dazzlings. I also just realized that in Find the Music in You, the four ponies singing are actually singing the SATB parts. Was this obvious to everyone else or am I just being an idiot?

One of the things I love about this series is that it gives sincerity and audience warmth to the villains, songs and characters. If they don't make friends, they will always be bad and enslave the ponies, but they will always be cool characters in our minds. I'm sorry if there are mistakes in English
