You know what's amazing about the MLP movie, they honestly didn't have to put effort. They could have just done it like the Generation 3 movies, but instead brought us incredible visuals, fun new characters, GREAT voice acting, And amazing new songs, not to mention one of the greatest scenes was Bringing the sonic rainboom to the big screen which was *chefs kiss* And a great crying scene (I know it sounds mean but crying animation in my opinion is incredible and you really did feel bad for twilight) It goes to show how much the creator cares for the fans that grew up with this show.

This is going to sound really silly. But Magic Inside and Flawless actually mean so much to me. They remind me of some of my hardest moments. When I felt like I couldn’t do anything right. That I had to change myself to be accepted, that my mistakes and flaws made me unworthy of peoples love. Mlp was something that just made me laugh. A silly kids show with talking colorful horses. And when is started to talk about real issues it helped. I saw myself in RaRa who was scared to embrace her true self because of how others may react. I saw myself in the flaws of the main six, the things that made people think they knew who I really was. I was a pushover, eager to please, excitable. It took a long time to learn to stand up for myself and find people who truly love me and want me around. Hearing these songs again reminds me of just how far I’ve come. Sorry went on a tangent

The actual episode itself has a terrible message (apparently whoever decided the idea was a good idea couldn’t tell the difference between fictional horses and real people) but the song is an absolute banger.

Sometimes I'll just cringe at most of the the songs, not saying anyone should dislike them, but just the beat and pace that villain songs have and every little detail here and there is flawless.

She would also not know what her cutie mark means. Her name would have been Hope Beacon and I would definitely make a villain song for her

when i was a little girl, i used to watch mlp in my native language (french) and the songs were already slaying (well at least for my 8 y/o self) but these are on another level. and what is even greater for me is that i understand everything they are singing, whereas i could barely introduce myself, say which day was today or how the weather was in english when i was watching mlp in french. i really think that im going to rewatch all of it in its original version
