      I see it differently. I do these cross examination of his content and think theory and practice and this one is practice. His other workouts be it his own or training others and i learned alot from you know you have to do it but it's hard BUT trying really counts and getting close to what's ideal one day at a time till you find YOU. Like how you wanna approach things your way even if it's sub optimal the ideas are at the core and you just don't stray too far from them as long as you are in your comfort zone while keeping discipline.

    So I know Doc doesnt understand why these videos are so desired. I dont watch a lot of them, but I got SO MUCH from this video.
    1) my love for cereal is not taboo, it just can/should be used within my macros rather than using it as a cheat meal or treat.
    2) dont be so emotionally strict with scheduling. Doc didn't seem to have an emotional distress from eating breakfast late and thus everything else on the schedule moving back. This is the toughest thing for me and Im working on it.
    3) the during workout beverage. I usually did water, but like the idea that DM put together and will try to find a concoction that works for my body and that I like.
    All of that to say, thanks for the video. I know it took a lot of effort.

    • @sadiablo93
      @sadiablo93 Месяц назад

      Just wow, that is your take away on what he said. I think he is pretty clear on that they work but also on the fact that they have side effects and are not really "good" for you in genereal. Also I think we live in a world where many people that really shouldn't be on gear are taking it. So I don't think being more appriciative of it is what is needed here. If you wanna enter competitions it is kinda required, but I really don't see the point of taking them if you are just an average dude who wants to get jacked, but has not even maxed out on his workouts yet.

      What a lot of people don't understand is that at the end of the day bodybuilding is both a sport and an art. And those who become serious about it - give everything to it.
      Competitive bodybuilders have a closer mindset to a ballerina hell bent on becoming a primary at a company than probably any other art / sport.
      Both torture their bodies for their art to an extreme level - both know that this could significantly shorten their life spans, negatively impact health and well-being now and in the future and the impact of their art can have really detrimental effect in mid and old age. Both are insanely focused on body form, conforming to body standards and both require hours of training and dedication, laser focus and an almost obsessive love for their kraft.
      That being said - for competitive body builders it is difficult to get far in the sport anymore without steroids - even after you go off of them you are more or less permanently primed above what you would have been if you never took them before. So not taking them, means you are probably not going to be able to compete seriously.
      They say don't take them, because they are very easy to obtain, and there are a lot of people who think that they can just wade in and take them with no negative effects. Of course there are going to be people who still say - I will take them any way. But at least being honest about the side effects is going to discourage some of the people on the fence.
