you can now buy a day pass for $70 bucks. As long as you're flying on any star alliance carrier operated flight or any other carrier that uses the star alliance LAX lounge as its lounge. So even if you're flying a short domestic flight on united airlines you can still use the lounge if you pay for it.
Do you know if Philippine Airlines business class passengers are allowed into this lounge? Their website says yes, though I cannot find any other information saying that Philippine Airlines is a Star Alliance partner. Thanks in advance.
Thanks for commenting. I had to research this myself. Philippine Airlines is not a star alliance partner, but they must contract certain lounges for access. I do now know your answer but I would try to gain access. Airlines like Air Tahiti are also contracted with this lounge. Absolute worst case, star alliance is selling day passes to this lounge on their website.
Great content, Lizardo! Question, though. How did you get from the United Airline gates to the international terminal WITHOUT leaving the secure area? PS, glad you didn’t fall from any trees last week!
Thanks for the review. This lounge now has Paid Access, approx. $65 for 3 hours, which only started this a few weeks ago. Question, you mentioned a serviced bar where more expensive wines are, does this mean the service bar wines are not complimentary and have to be paid for?
Great review!

Thanks for watching and for commenting. Everything in this lounge is complimentary, including the alcohol behind the serviced bar.
