He actually is far more stupid then he looks! He gave an excellent victory to India in Kargil by taking actions which a Kindergarten mil student would not have done. Secondly he almost sold off Pak kashmir stand by a 4 point fromula. Indian Generals are professional and achieve military victories eg Manekshaw, Jacob, Harbaksh Singh etc - Pak Generals are stupid as they end up giving victories to their adversaries (eg Ayub fiasco 1965, Zia Siachen debacle, Yahya 1971 and Musharraf Kargil)

Pervez Musharruf is all that his name indicates. He has an all pervasive(Pervez), mushy, rough and gruff (Musharruf) personality. He has not mellowed with his unceremonious exit nor his advancing age and is vainglorious and talks loftily about what he says he almost achieved but just tripped at the goal post, in establishing an everlasting peace with India. In Pakistan every party is a muslim party from a muslim country while India is a secular country with freedom to follow whatever you deem fit. Again Modi’s inclination to RSS does in no way affect his dedication to the people irrespective of their religion, language or region. So Mr. Musharruf is talking about India while Pakistan has declared itself as a muslim country.

    1. A country based on ONE religion (Islam) and then one that snuffs out the other religions, would obviously not have to run on religion. Is there an Ahmadi or Shia influence in ANY party? Probably not and if yes, then soooooo insignificant it doesn't even count. Why? Because the Sunni Muslims have a monopoly over the political and societal system.
    2. BJP has a large Muslim wing and many Muslim politicians.... This is in addition to a large Muslim vote bank.
And even if his exaggerations and lies are believed there is still one very important point:
If Pakistan can thump its chest and form an Islamic country, then why can't India form a Hindu one?
What's good for the goose is good for the gander.

For a power hungry man, removing his power is the biggest punishment
Musharraf never respected authority and felt he is never answerable to anyone in the world
    He is a megalomaniac
Kicking him out of his home and forced to live in exile is the best punishment to such megalomaniac
Musharraf joins the list of Pakistani leaders starting from Jinnah, Ayub khan, Bhutto, Zia who dreamed of taking Kashmir but exiled/died without fulfilling his dream

A very convoluted interview which he is tackling with maximum caution and alacrity. The interviewer is asking very loaded questions and I think, much against the expectations of Mr Musharaf. He has a flair to join politics and foresees mass support from people. He is very suave in his effussions and admits that Beenazir Bhutto's assassination damaged our alliance which was still in its embryonic stage.
