One of his finest roles, absolutely. I first heard of Robert in '79 (age 11) when he played Captain Dan Holland in Disney's 'The Black Hole'. I never looked back. A very talented actor. Ha, tears start again... *sigh* ... Stay safe Judy.

Robert WAS Max Cherry. I can’t think of one other actor, no matter how talented, who could have played that part as fantastic as he did. He was also great in his occasional appearances as “the eraser” character in Breaking Bad, and its follow-up movie , El Camino; where his character, under the cover of a guy who owns a vacuum cleaner repair service, would be hired by criminals to wipe away their existence, and giving them new identities and new lives. While it’s certainly sad that Robert passed on after having his career rejuvenated to commercial success, it’s reassuring to know that he was able to enjoy that success before he died, and knowing that he had finally reached the level of success that he so well-deserved, and that he had worked so long and hard to achieve... and that’s a much happier ending than him not ever reaching that level, or worse, having posthumous accolades paid to his memory about how under-appreciated he was while he was alive. Knowing that he was being appreciated for his talent, and for his dedication to the craft, had to have meant something to him. RIP Robert. 🕯 I hope that somewhere tonight, you’re in that Big Theater In The Sky, prepping in your dressing room for your next big scene... 🙏
Fantastic stuff from Bob Forster. Authentic as they come. Thank you both Quentin Tarentino for writing Max Cherry and Robert Forster for playing Max Cherry.
Ryan Johnson he’s a member of Triple Nine Society. More prestigious than Mensa. Mensa has tens of thousands of members. Testing puts you in top 2% on various intelligence testing. 1900 members of Triple Nine. Intelligence puts you above 99.9% of population. This depends on how much stock you put in this stuff. But clearly he’s a sharp knife in the drawer.
Rob really makes me feel at home listening to his voice. I love his attitude and his cool style. He carries himself like the rest of us WNY’s and that’s sweet, compassionate and having a good ole western new york accent. RIP buddy we love you so much
Jackie Brown was the last time Tarantino truly slowed down and inverted his style instead of elevating it, and while I’m a fan of his latter-day work, there just is no comparison to the raw honesty and real-life dialog that Tarantino directs with such grace and solidarity to his source material.
I love the scene where max cherry hammers on ordell,s front door and ordell threatens to shut him up for good for trying to wake up the neighborhood , cracks me up.
Robert's scene when Sam Jackson waltzes in to his business, puts his feet up on the desk, lights a ciggie, Robert offers him the coffee cup ashtray - that was tense, that was real, engaging, I really felt I was inside that office.
Tall, dark and handsome indeed is Robert Forster, folks like Robert who have a strong jawline, sqaure chin and high cheekbones usually are good looking and add to that Robert has a genius level IQ......some folks have it all.Lucky chap and terrific actor.
That scene in True Love between Christopher Walken and Dennis Hopper was one of he best movie scenes ever. I don't think Robert Forster could have done it better.
Wow the Sicilian scene was written for Foster, I bet he was mad that Tony Scott ended up getting that screen play. I would've liked to have seen his interpretation of Don Vincenzo but it's hard to top Walken.
is white guilt supposed to make me forget im running a business? lol my god max cherry added sooo much to this movie! the tension between him and jackie is so special. he absolutely rocked this role. maybe my fav tarantino film. thats a big maybe but stilll it was cinematic beauty with this timecapsule of the 70s feel to the way he made the film. thats why max fit this role like it was written 4 him
My favorite Tarantino film. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Robert has hair like a Belgian Forrest. A few hair plugs in his later years. Wonderful actor though. Rest In Peace Robert.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
He's so effortlessly good in this movie. Perfectly cast.
Robert broke my heart in Jackie Brown. Rest in.peace, nice man.

Robert forster is a BRILLIANT underrated actor & a true nice guy & down to earth blue collar guy!!! Love this dude

Rest in Peace 10/11/2019.
Robert was such a good man on set. I was pleased to learn this as a production assistant on a film called 'The Magic of Marciano'. Respect.
Did 2 pictures with him and met him twice in public. Such a decent man. Such a New Yorker
Love you Robert RIP

A lovely guy and he was great in Jackie brown, made me tear up listening to this love his honesty R.I.P.
Aw he looks so happy to be there and he was so good in this film.He deserves his success.
What a sweet and gentle soul. He didn't really die, he just got an adapter for a pressure pro hoover max extract 60.
A delicate romance woven into a caper. What a lovely description.
What a talented, gorgeous and sweet gentleman. RIP Mr Forster

Robert Forster: You blew our minds, this time. R.I.P.
Robert is sharp and articulate. Really enjoyed his insights. That was great to watch and listen to.

The extended version of hateful 8 is quite good as well. Feels like I’m watching a play instead of a movie
@@GreatIntellect13 interesting. Where can I find that?
@@robbo03 Netflix
When he first saw Jackie Brown walking towards him and falls in love with her on the spot shows what a fine actor he was. RIP.
I love the scene where max cherry hammers on ordell,s front door and ordell threatens to shut him up for good for trying to wake up the neighborhood , cracks me up.
3:04 After Robert said love, I thought the video was stuck :-)
A very good actor, and seems like a well grounded person, nice guy. Seems so transparent.
Amazing performance and amazing movie. My 2nd favorite Tarantino flick.
Robert's scene when Sam Jackson waltzes in to his business, puts his feet up on the desk, lights a ciggie, Robert offers him the coffee cup ashtray - that was tense, that was real, engaging, I really felt I was inside that office.
What a cool dude, he missed some big spots but nobody else could have been Max Cherry
He was actually good looking as Max Cherry when he played that role.
Tall, dark and handsome indeed is Robert Forster, folks like Robert who have a strong jawline, sqaure chin and high cheekbones usually are good looking and add to that Robert has a genius level IQ......some folks have it all.Lucky chap and terrific actor.
His sensitivity was attractive he has good facial expressions.
Incredible actor rest in peace Robert
just a gentle soul. RIP.
He was incredible in Jackie Brown and his role as the disappearer in Breaking Bad was absolutely next level
One of my all time favourite films.
What a nice man. RIP.
Love the puse after the "love"...
That scene in True Love between Christopher Walken and Dennis Hopper was one of he best movie scenes ever. I don't think Robert Forster could have done it better.
Definitely wasn't meant to be. Max Cherry was meant to be Robert Forster.
No one says Bails Bondsman more better than Robert Foster
lol I can't tell if its Robert Forster that's getting interviewed or Max Cherry.
He was perfect for the part.
good guy
Great actor one of my favorites
Robert Forster was a model human being
Wow the Sicilian scene was written for Foster, I bet he was mad that Tony Scott ended up getting that screen play. I would've liked to have seen his interpretation of Don Vincenzo but it's hard to top Walken.
What a handsome man.
Robert Forster
American actor

Rip in peace I would have loved to see how he became the disappear guy
Pam Grier's career wasn't revived. She didn't really get big roles after Jackie Brown.
My favorite Tarantino film. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Robert has hair like a Belgian Forrest. A few hair plugs in his later years. Wonderful actor though. Rest In Peace Robert.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Oh how we will miss Max cherry
Effortless actor. He basically place himself but I’m here for it lol
Man he could have played Deep Purple's lead singer Ian Gillan for some bio movie! Without any Deepfake. Could he?
Arthur Petrelli
love him but his kiss is still one of the wierdest Ive ever seen, if u got pam grier on your lips you ought to give it a your all champ
I think it was supposed to be that way. Resembling Max’s somewhat awkward, but pure love for Jackie; innocent even.
Friendo squakin too much. Nice guy but this movie thing has him invested 2 muchos.
