I always find it amazing how adaptable they are, stylistically. They could do the Scripted type music, or their current music, or the accoustic adaptations like this one. They turned a strong, loud, intense song into this beautiful flowing thing and that is amazing
This kind of variety is what Linkin Park tried (and at times, failed) to do. Sadly, Icon For Hire is left unappreciated because they didn't get popular in the era of punk rock to the point where they can just live off it like a big band like LP.
@@GigaLigma I discovered IfH about a year ago and it was wonderful to hear a new band with strong punk themes. I love that they left the studio to release an independent album to preserve their art. That route is never as financially successful but it's a beautiful collection of music.

I have always liked how hard Icon is and always thought Ariels voice fit the style so well. But after hearing this and the Supposed to Be acoustic i love the softer versions of the songs almost more than the original which I didn't know was possible cuz I love the originals sooo much

A&S, your talent is well honed. Personally I really enjoy the acoustic versions of songs. Yours are a beautiful example of how the expression of the heart is conveyed through the lyrics. And equally appealing for me is even without lyrics the music alone acoustically resonates and you can follow the emotion and intent even without the words. I love the patterns your messages send. It gains an intensity and depth as it reaches a crescendo and really places each of your passion on display both lyrically and musically.
